“Had a wonderful experience at MarMo during a pub crawl yesterday. It really shows when a bar truly prepares for an event like this. Even with the large influx of people, the staff were so friendly and attentive, working extra hard to minimize that wait time at the bar. This was hospitality to its core. It was such a cool vibe. And that hummus was magical. Will definitely be back!“

“Need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? This place made this country boy at home. Make you feel at home. Small Town atmosphere. Ms. Renee (sorry if I misspelled your name); was highly attentive and friendly. music is varied. Jukebox is awesome. Not to mention the price of drinks is fair and the regulars make you feel at home. And this is after my first trip! Will definitely return next week.“

“We have been a few times and it has always been fantastic. This past weekend we had my husband’s 50th birthday on the rooftop. We had a pretty large group but had met ahead of time to discuss set up, food and all the details. It turned out perfect. The staff was amazing. The drinks were great, food delicious and the vibe was perfect. We stayed there so we experienced The Fancy restaurant, downstairs bar, pool and rooftop and it couldn’t have been a better weekend. The rooms were so cold and smelled so good (2 very important factors for me when traveling). The rooms are quaint and they have mastered upscale, boutique but with a laid back vibe. We had several friends get rooms as well so they wouldn’t have to drive home late and everyone had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!! It’s an hour drive for us but I can tell you we will be back for happy hour and food.“

“We are from Nebraska and wanted some fresh seafood and Coopers landing delivered. We got the sea bass to go the first night and it was amazing. We had drinks at the bar that were amazing the lavender lemon drop martini. We came back and ate in the restaurant the second night because it was so good. Our server Chris was amazing and recommended the best dishes and provided the best service. I would recommend this family friendly restaurant with the kindest staff.“

“This was our first visit since the renovation was completed.We went there for cocktails before dinner. We tried the old fashion, the bird of paradise, and the Hawaiian wave. The bird of paradise was the least favorite. Our waitress, shy, was very friendly and impressed us with the drink order and special requests without writing anything down. We did not order any food but everything going past us looked great. It was a fun place and we will return.“

“Hearsay has become a “go to” destination for us while in Galveston. Gorgeous atmosphere, wonderful cocktail experiences and food selection has nice variety. The only thing taking away from a 5 star review this visit was one of our meals didn't quite hit the mark. The grits in the “shrimp and grits” entree were very dry, unlike the usual consistency, which is creamy and velvety. Everything else was fabulous, especially the brand new “Dubai chocolate tiramisu”!! I would go back just for that dessert!“
