“I ordered from Door Dash and was very happy. I'll have to hit the place in person. I lived in Hawaii on and off for 11 years - 8 years as a kid/teen and 3 as an adult while in the Air Force. I miss the island food and flavors. This hit the spot. But wish the mac salad was more traditional if that can be a thing...in Hawaii, everyone had a slightly different recipe, not saying Hawaiian Bros mac salad was bad, but wish it was closer to what I ate in Oahu. Anyways, can't go wrong with this place. I had the Honolulu Chicken Plate.”

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.”

“Kindling Texas Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent, and everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. I stopped in later in the day, so quite a few menu items were already sold out, which tells me they're popular and making food fresh. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and a great fit for downtown Cibolo. I'll be back a little earlier next time so I can try more of the menu. Overall, a great local restaurant that I'd happily recommend.”

“Good overall but I have one small complaint. I don't know if they make their kimchi in house or if they get it from somewhere, but I could taste the sugar in it which means it was too much. It's really not necessary to put ANY sugar in kimchi, and I could immediately tell. Perhaps it was a one-off, I'd still eat here again. Please don't sweeten your kimchi.”

“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.”

“What can I say. I am impressed with Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. I live out of town currently and I ordered a pie for delivery online and I messed up not only the delivery time but forgot to add a note for the recipient. Completely my mistake. I called the store and Katie answered the phone, actually she answered every time I called (3 total LOL) I received a happy greeting and Katie was delighted to help me correct my mistake. She made me feel like a friend, not just a customer, and I truly appreciated all the help! Definitely recommend. Thank You Katie!”

“Great atmosphere and friendly service. Good beer and drink selection. Wrap and taco were fantastic but the burger was a bit of a disappointment. While the smells from the kitchen were good, the patty was a frozen, charbroiled patty and didn't taste fresh at all. Will go back but will probably avoid any of the burgers.”

“Stopped by Jolt for the first time ever the morning of 2/14/26 and had a lovely experience with the staff. I did not get the name of the young gentleman working that morning but he was so helpful and patient and helped me decide on my order. Wonderful and pleasant customer service seems hard to come by these days but they were excellent”

“Supporting small family owned businesses is one of my favorite things to do, and Big Aloha's Ali'i Cove absolutely delivered! We recently used their catering menu for a special gathering, and from start to finish, the customer service was phenomenal. They even worked with our Sunday event date to make everything happen. The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious so much so the teri beef, fried noodles, mochiko chicken, mac salad, and cupcakes disappeared fast. Unfortunately, the only pictures I managed to take were of the cupcakes because everyone was too busy enjoying the food. That's probably the best compliment a caterer can receive! If you're looking to add something different, flavorful, and authentic to your table, I highly recommend giving them a try. It's always rewarding to support a local family business that takes such pride in what they do. You'll find them right here in Universal City off Pat Booker Road.
