“I normally don’t eat gumbo, but their’s is amazing. It’s very flavorful! It was plenty of meat. I also had fish, shrimp, and rat toes. The rat toes are always spicy. The drink I ordered was a Blue Mofo, and was strawberry flavored. 10 out of 10 for everything! Our server was AC. He was top notch! He was attentive and friendly.“

“Charlie's Creole Kitchen was the place to be for a casual meeting tonight. The fried green tomatoes and boudin balls were top-notch, and the crab claws and bacon-wrapped shrimp were stellar. Owner Jim Hickey's hospitality stood out—he spent over an hour chatting with us and he greeted every guest that walked by. It's clear he values his regulars. And there are a lot of regulars! “The food at Cajun Boil Stop was really good, though I did notice the seasoning/ingredients seemed a little different from before it didn’t taste quite the same, but still enjoyable. Our server, Elizabeth H was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her great service definitely made the visit worth it!“

“One of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Whenever I am in town I always stop by this restaurant. And we usually order fried calamari and crab spinach dip for starters. Now main dish of choice depends of what we’re craving. Their lobster bisque remind me of home. They have huge portions (everything bigger in TEXAS) and great variety of seafood meals to pig out on. “This was very nice and delicious. My apartment complex had Carl's Kitchen food truck yesterday, 5p-8pm. I got there about 6:15pm and there were three customers ahead of me. Mr. Carl was cool. I ordered, paid and got a pager. That was neat. It was not a long wait before I got zapped. The food was hot and fresh. Excellent seasoning on the burger and the fries.
I did not give it 5 stars only because of presentation. My apartment graciously comped my meal (first 25 residents got tickets) however for the price point advertised i would hope a bit more effort in making it aesthetically pleasing. I don't mind spending $20+ for a gourmet burger and fries but please make it pretty.“

“The food was good, the price fair, the service minimal ok. What was unacceptable was the BLARING VULGAR PROFANITY laced rap music, and the cars stacking up around the drive socializing and smoking pot so that you couldn't park, or even drive around to find a place to park. I brought it to the managers attention and he just became argumentative, and said this is what his customers want. No problem, we won't be back.“
