“Food was absolutely delicious. Steak was tender and moist and perfectly seasoned. Coconut cream pie was so good, just moderate sweet, which is perfect for me. Pumpkin patch latte was better than I expected. It didn't have much cinnamon taste. Ask for their seasonal drinks. I loved the view of the street from sitting outside.

One of the best burgers in this area, the hype is real for this place. Fries were crispy and well done. The drinks are single serve bottles of different brands of sodas. The beer isn't bad, it's just British. Rentsch is a Georgetown staple. The huge Oaks, the great hospitality. The venue is really awesome. However, one must know what it is before going. In the past year folks have asked why the beer tastes sour and like vinegar. Today, the overwhelming desire in craft beer is full-bodied, full textured IPA's, Hazy's, Wheats, and Double IPA's. Electric Jellyfish is King. English/British Ales and brews are different. Think Lone Star and Lone Star light. Both great beers. Rentsch opts for less popular lagers, ales, pilsners. Not what many people like, but some do, so Rentsch fills that void. Rentsch serves more along the lines of Lone Star beer, and that's OK.

We hope Rentsch is around a very long time. Lone Star is a great beer, and Rentsch has nailed the British versions of it.“

“I just want to give a huge shout out to The Yard milkshake bar in Georgetown. I ordered a big ol ice cream and I didn’t read the description correctly. It was on a slide show so I tried to read it like 3 times to make sure. Well I didn’t like it. I was just going to just throw it away and not say anything but the manager came by and asked how come I didn’t eat it and I told her. Well she ended up bringing me a whole other type of ice cream that I actually liked to make sure I had a good experience there! That’s what you call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! “Where can I start my wife and I came here sometime last month in October on a Friday because I am off on Friday's and we walked in and gave it a try for our very first time. We both had one of the most expensive plates it was one of the seasoned fish plates that was like 29.99 or so. It was pretty good better than I expected it to be!! JG was our server he had his initials on his chain on his neck he was cool he said he has been there for 11yrs or 12yrs I believe. He was really good at explaining to us what he think we would like based on what we told him we wanted. It's a step under Papadeaux's but it's a cheaper price than you would pay there so it makes since. To me it's a good alternative if you don't feel like paying the Papadeaux's price range. I would definitely come back, they had some good happy hour options too.“

“We drive an hour to eat and we’re told it would be a 45 minute wait and then when that time came they would be closing and turned away. There were 8 at least empty tables. We come there a lot and disappointed. We even told hostess we drove an hr.“

Wish I had cash on me to tip her. Give her a raise! She was so kind and so swift!! She was juggling customers walking into stores, the drive thru and mobile orders.“
