“We were in town for the weekend, so we wanted something familiar for my gluten-free teen. Mari was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. My kid got the shrimp Baja tacos and I ended up getting my usual, chicken nachos. Probably the most balanced nachos I've ever gotten. Plenty of cheese and chicken to support all of the chips. Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area.“

“Been coming here once a month since they opened. Three words.....AN INCREDIBLE PLACE. Food is plentiful and delicious.....every time I have been. Atmosphere is a little small but it really adds to the whole experience. Can't say enough about how incredibly friendly the staff is......EVERYTIME I have been. Waiting for a table is not unexpected this place is THAT GOOD!“

“We were staying at a nearby camp and ordered food for some of our staff. I called in our order to be ready at 8:30, and Pedro, one of the managers went above and beyond - even going to the dollar store to be able to provide serving utensils for us. He and their staff brought all the food to our car and the meat was ready to be loaded at 8:30 sharp to ensure it would still be hot when I got it back. The amount of food was so generous and the staff loved the meal. I wish I lived closer as this would be on our regular rotation for eating out. Fantastic experience!“

“Stopped by The Pelican House for some Louisiana Cajun flavor and it did not disappoint! I ordered the grilled seafood platter,super flavorful and cooked just right. You can really taste the seasoning in every bite. I also tried the peach cobbler, and it was spot on. Perfect balance of breading and peachesn not too heavy, not too sweet. Shoutout to Louis, the owner, for the great conversation and sharing some helpful advice about opening a restaurant. That personal touch made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!“

“I was there yesterday and got a Cheesesteak Hoagie (that's what we call them in Philly)... it was amazing and so was the service! It wasn't my first time there, but it was the best and it won't be my last! It was the best cheesesteak I've had anywhere outside of the Philly area... 5 STARS!!!“

“We tried Eggsquisite Cafe in Waxahachie for brunch after church. The wait time was shorter than anticipated. At our table we were greeted with a smile by Cheyenne C. She was very sweet, personable and knowledgeable. We ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon wrap with sweet potato fries & fried okra to split. She had it splt for us before bringing it out. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Even split we couldn't eat it all, so a to-box it was. Everything was perfect but the best part of our visit was Cheyenne and her sweet personality. We will definitely be back.“

“My daughter & I stopped in after a full afternoon of errands & the lady that greeted us is extremely hospitable & accommodating. I was standing by the table & she noticed & asked if I was looking for the restroom, she walked me down the hall & opened the door and turned the light on even. So sweet. She was super helpful when I asked questions about dishes on the menu. The food was great. Service was really fast & she is such a sweet lady. The lamb was amazing 🤩 everything was sooo good!! 😌

“Our church group went here last Saturday afternoon after a church singing. We had about 20 people and we got seated immediately. Heather was our server. Let me tell you folks. She is amazing! Got our drink orders quickly. Remembered what we were drinking, which is mind boggling! Got our food out very quickly and of course it was delicious. Then she split our checks up into about 15-16 separate bills. I highly recommend this place and try to get heather as your server. Great job all around, Cotton Patch! Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼“

“Ohana has a really nice Japanese feel to it. The traditional decor and the smell coming from the kitchen made the place feel welcoming right away. The staff were friendly and always had a smile.
I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with soy broth, pork belly, scallions, bamboo, diced onions, and an egg. The broth was the star for me. It had this deep, savory flavor with a little sweetness underneath, almost like the soy had been cooked down into something richer. Warm, comforting, and full of umami without tasting too salty. Every sip had that roasted, almost earthy depth that made me want to keep drinking it.
The pork belly was ridiculously tender. Soft, juicy, and rich, with just enough fat to make it melt in my mouth. The egg was creamy and silky in the middle, and the bamboo and onions added some crunch and freshness to break everything up. Simple, warm, and really satisfying. This was exactly what I wanted from a bowl of ramen.“

“Happened to drive by and see this new place. Very busy and lots of people which is a good sign. Service was fantastic; drinks, chips, salsa was constantly refilled. “This is my go to lunch spot and I have a 30 minute lunch. I love the enchilada burritos with the black olives. I eat the super tacos the most though. The meat is real ground beef! I like the nachos but without the nacho cheese add shredded. The sweet tea is sooo good.“

“The hostess at the door was rude..service was just ok ,but slow...the only saving grace is surprisingly the food was very good..almost turned around and left after the rude lady with an attitude before she sat us..And ordered a couple bottle beers barely drinkable..not where close to cold..“

“I came here with my family Monday night for dinner, and I must say best sushi and service in midlothian. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere and overall feel of the place was fantastic. We were greeted and shown to our table and then our server Sierra came up and had the biggest smile on her face I think I have ever seen. Through the night, anytime she’d check on us, she never failed to lighten the mood, just always smiling. I ordered the crunchy roll and, not being a huge fan of sushi, it was spectacular.

“The best old school Kool aid in the entire metroplex. The fish is some of the best also. There is space to dine in but this is a no frills place. The food is the draw here. I recommend calling in for pick-up which I noticed is what most do. There is a constant flow of customers which also means there is a constant flow of fresh cooked food.
It's good so check them out. Oh yeah, they have a huge selections of cakes.“
