“Josefina’s tamales are our favorite by far. Our favorite is the pork, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their flavors or food! The owners are the loveliest people. We had tamales for Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch. We also love to grab lunch.“

“Food at Nares is amazing! Menudo is one of the best I have tasted. Tacos ( all of them ) are great . Tortas are loaded , tasty and delicious. Their service is the best . I have tried almost every Mexican restaurant in Granbury. No one comes close to Nares .. it stands along as the best !! If you’re looking for true Mexican food this is the place .. no need to look anywhere else .. Oh did i mention the chips and salsa?? You need to visit this place!! “We had lunch Wednesday Jan 12 2025 and enjoyed the Wednesday Enchilada Special. Our server Jenny was very friendly and attentive. We had chips and salsa along with relish and corn tortillas while waiting for lunch. Our meals were served fairly soon after ordering. It was piping hot and delicious. Again, Jenn took great care of us and we enjoyed our lunch.“

“We were seated immediately on a Saturday night. It was busy but there were still plenty of seats available. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito with queso on top, with rice and beans. The rice and beans were very flavorful, and the burrito was hot, tasty and did not disappoint! They have very tasty salsa too! It wasn't too hot or spicy, but had just enough to add to the flavor of everything. We went through a lot of it and bought some for home too. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. We will be back for sure! 5 🌟“

“Authentic Mexican comfort food. Wanted to show my boyfriend what pozole tastes like(his first time trying it) & the pozole here was right on point! Great flavors. Good portion sizes and prizes are not too bad. The restaurant could look a little more decent, maybe a renovation or something but the food was great!“

I've had several of their agua fresca flavors and they have each been delicious. The dessert? ALSO DELICIOUS. “I eat this quite often. The guacamole tostada is my favorite and always taste freshly made. I also love the cherry limeade. I’m in and out within a few minutes going through the drive through. They are very kind and professional.“
