“The absolute best! I won't even argue the point! Period! (CAUTION!) THESE FRUITCAKES ARE VERY ADDICTIVE!We moved from McKinney, Texas to Westerville, Ohio six years ago and I'm aghast at the price I had to pay for our annual pair of fruitcakes and have them shipped to Ohio. We could've easily driven the short distance (like we used to do!) and picked it up taking the back way from McKinney! Well given it a second thought, since gasoline prices are up it probably would have cost over $25.00 for us to drive! Anyway, it wouldn't be Christmas, at least a "Merry Christmas" without our regular Mary of Puddin' Hill fruitcakes. Once again, the absolute best! Merry Christmas everybody down there in the Lone Star State! I miss living there now, but being 80 years old, and with several infirmities, driving back there is out of the question! “Pretty much an El Centro staple when it comes to the sweet tea, Cheetos, Tostitos, churritos, cherry Sprite, jamaica, and horchata. And of course, you can't forget the donuts. This place is usually inundated with junior high and high school students who drop by to grab drinks and snacks. There is a makeshift drive-thru near the front entrance of this place so you can order from you car and grab your stuff and be on your way. Prices are pretty cheap and service is typically helpful and swift.“
“This place is most favorite BBQ place of all time. The chopped brisket sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce is to die for. The pies are also amazing. Chocolate, cherry, apricot and peach are the best. The staff are all so friendly, place is super clean, and food is fresh. You gotta eat here.“
“I love donuts, and I believe they're the best donuts in town! If you blink, you might miss it driving down 34 or 1570. But it's worth the stop! Yummy donuts, light and fluffy. The decorated ones are too cute! I've even saved for the next day, and they're still fluffy. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: My son is 3 and he loves going in and picking out what he wants. The owner has even thrown in a little extra for him on many occasions!“
