“This place is amazing!! Very convenient and has been a great resource in my life. I had the chance of visiting a couple weeks ago and was greeted by DAWN!! She was so amazing knowledgeable and relatable. She helped me pick out some meals even grabbed fresher dates for me because I expressed I probably wouldn’t eat all my meals in 1 to 2 days. “I came in at 6:15 PM on graduation weekend and was shocked to find a place completely empty. There was one other customer. Naturally, I was skeptical as to what my experience is going to be. The young lady who took my order was extremely polite and efficient. It did not help my trepidation when my food came out before I was finished at the drink machine. However, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, tasty and slightly spicy, which was what I wanted. By the time I left, there were probably 12 people. The musical was an excellent combination of 60s, 70s and 80s. All in all, very good experience. The picture is not a very good representation of the food because I had already eaten a decent amount of it. Lol.“

“The hubs and I stopped by for a bagel and coffee. We ended up ordering more lol. He had the bagel Sandwich and a muffin which was amazing! I ordered a caramel cold brew which was perfect, a bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. All were fresh, warm and delicious. We miss the Italian wedding soup that Olive Garden use to have and they serve it here so we will be back to try that and their tomato basil soup!“

“A hidden gem in Arlington if you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine in the Arlington area look no further than Thai Texas located at 5736 SW Green Oaks Blvd. Last night, I enjoyed their Tofu Pad Thai and it was hands-down, the best I’ve ever had. It was also my first time visiting Thai Texas. The noodles were perfectly cooked. The tofu was cooked great on the outside and tender on the inside and the tangy flavors were spot on. Topped with crushed peanuts, bean, sprouts, and a squeeze of limes. It was very delightful. And the service was excellent. I can’t wait to return to explore more of their menu. “Popped in today with my daughter—she grabbed a milkshake, and I treated myself to a churro cupcake (because self-care, obviously).

She said the milkshake was “watery, but good,” which is kind of like saying someone’s funny, but only by accident. She slurped it down in under five minutes, probably because there wasn’t much thickness slowing her down.

As for my churro cupcake—it was good! Not “angels-singing, fireworks-exploding” good, especially at $4 a pop, but good enough to keep me curious. I’ll definitely be back to give another flavor a shot. Maybe next time the milkshake will come with a little more shake and a little less milk.“

“I attended a Tiffon Cognac tasting on Friday at the Whiskey Crusaders. The Cognacs were paired with amazing desserts from the neighboring bakery Cookies Crumbs and Crust. What amazing pairings! A flakey crust apple tart, a buttery delightful raisin cookie (paired with the grape based Cognac), the most amazing molten chocolate cookie, a creamy light Tiramisu, and my favorite - a perfect Macaron filled with a cream made with Tiffon Cognac Cream. Amazing. If you are in the Hurst area - this is a must go to bakery for all your cake, cookies and pastry needs. So much better than anything else I've had in TX! I am so glad to have discovered a true gem in Hurst!“

She's quite shy but we still wanted to have the goofy birthday experience that we had growing up (coming to Joe's Crab shack for birthday celebrations has become a tradition in our family). Well, they sure did it! Our server, Jose, was amazing, friendly, checked on us often, made sure we had what we needed, and answered all our questions with a smile.
