“This is the oldest restaurant in Haltom City. I remember visiting here back in 1990 when I was taking a course at Texas Wesleyan. The pho is excellent, and I believe the soup has a unique, delicious flavor that has stood the test of time. Although the service can be a bit slow, it’s worth the wait once you taste the pho. I always like to come back whenever I have the chance. I highly recommend trying the pho here!“

“Despite the name, this isn't really a pho restaurant. I think they do serve pho, but it's mainly Thai and Lao. We've eaten here 10-12 times and it's always delicious. Their panang curry is one of my favorite things anywhere. Their other curries and the pad grapow are very good, too. My wife usually gets pad see ew and always enjoys it.“

“This is such a wonderful gem. The dining room is small and intimate. The wait staff was incredible and had wonderful recommendations, and the food is really incredible. The duck confit might be the best thing I've ever tasted. Everything from the butter tasting flight we started our meal with to the creme brulee dessert was just delightful. “2.5/5 stars The problem is the service and food level deterioration as the lunch buffet window, 1130-230, progresses into the later portions. The first and previous time, we hit the buffet right at opening at 1130 am. Everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Was really impressed with staff, decor, and ambience. Food was well above average. It's clear they are trying very hard. My/our 2nd visit, party of 3, was at ~130 pm. Few items were out. Sadly, the other 2 in the party found the experience below my earlier top billing. Most of my fav dishes: The few tandoori chicken remaining were stone cold. The butter chicken ran out. The goat curry ran out the 2nd trip to the table. What came subsequently was not the same taste, subpar. Perhaps the management can address these issues and consider this as genuinely helpful feedback. Restaurant biz is notorious for these issues that slowly creep in. I did note the manager talk and motion to his employee to keep up with replenishment in a timely manner on my request. Given the great first visit, and two carry-outs from their 2nd location, we would consider another review after management addresses these issues. The most recent visit was a letdown. Cheers!!“

“We visited Press Café this past Sunday right after church, and as expected, the place was absolutely packed with a long wait for a table. However, we got incredibly lucky and managed to snag two spots right away at the bar, and it turned out to be the best seat in the house!

Despite how busy the restaurant was, the server behind the bar was exceptionally attentive, welcoming, and on top of everything. We were served our drinks and food remarkably fast, which was a wonderful surprise given the Sunday rush.

They have an incredible coffee selection and the daily menu is packed with fantastic options. Everything we ordered tasted absolutely delicious and was prepared perfectly. We had such a wonderful experience that we are already planning to return for an evening meal very soon. Highly recommend!“
