This is a great “Special Occasion” restaurant.The food is always fantastic and the service (when I have gone) has always been top-notch.If you like a brownie with ice cream on top for dessert, be warned that there are dried cherries in the brownie. It would have been a good dessert, if not for the dried cherries. I didn’t like to texture that it gave the brownie. Amazing find! First time having a grilled California artichoke… super delicious, meaty, smoky, savory, well-seasoned with remoulade sauce. 10 out of 10! Followed by a Caesar salad with chicken. Service was also 10+ out of 10… Cassidy anticipated everything and was amazing!

Truly my most favorite restaurant in Houston for decades. The food, atmosphere and service are impeccable. Schauna, the manager, is the bomb. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.I don’t understand the 4.4 overall rating. Not my experience. Maybe some customers are just unhappy inconsiderate people. I like Hillstone’s rules, no cell phone and no unruly customers.
