Had the Hawaiian steak and prime rib sandwich. Both were excellent.
One of my favorite dishes in Houston is the Ruby Red Trout here. The service is always top notch and Britney was wonderful today! Make a reservation as it gets busy for lunch.
Stopped by for a quick lunch at a houston staple. The service is as it has always been, amazing. Great flavors and well thought ought dishes.

Hillstone offers a consistently excellent dining experience with great food quality and service. The restaurant is well hidden by huge trees but has good parking and a valet. It has a classic feel with a crisp, clean interior, dimmer lighting, and a healthy buzz, making it a popular spot for business lunches. The booth seating is nice with high backs, providing a sense of privacy. The wait staff are smartly turned out, very efficient, and attentive. The food is always so good, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. Specific meals enjoyed include the GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD with field greens, jicama, honey-lime vinaigrette, and peanut sauce; a perfectly prepared Filet; the French dip made with prime rib; and the Ruby Star Salad. The food came out in a reasonable time frame and tasted good, though some feel it is a bit overpriced for the quantity. The ambience cannot be beaten, and it is a favorite place in Houston for over 30 years, always a 5 star experience.
