“We were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant for breakfast and this one had great reviews. Went ahead and visited the place. We definitely do not regret going. I ordered a Vampiro drink (I believe that is what it was called) and it was healthy, freshly made, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered green chilaquiles and I ordered the breakfast croissant. Both were exquisite. Our server was amazing and very welcoming. There is a gentleman there taking care of the wait list and of cleaning up, and he too was very welcoming. We are from out of town so we weren’t knowledgeable about the menu, and the employees here were very understanding and answered any of the questions we had. Thank you!“

“For $1 tacos, you cannot beat the flavor and price. These are legitimate tacos! I am giving it 4 stars because sometimes there is plenty of meat in the tacos and sometimes there is very little.

They also only have a spicy sauce, no mild sauces although I do appreciate that they always have them on the side as well as the lime.

Service is getting 4 stars because one younger lady that works there is super nice and sweet and another older lady that works there is rude. There are no posted prices and I believe sometimes she up charges or purposely does not tell you how much the items are you are ordering. They do not offer itemized receipts.

Atmosphere gets a 3 because the truck is located in a gas station parking lot and it's not on the best side of town. The parking situation is whatever spaces or pumps are open when you arrive. If I park at a pump I make sure to get gas or buy something from their store. My other quarrel is that sometimes the orders can take a while and they don't have any chairs where you can just sit and wait so you have to sit in your car with the window cracked, letting all the cold air out, while you wait for your number to be called or stand outside in the heat.

I will say it again though, for $1 you can it beat these tacos. I eat here at least 2x a week.“

“I don’t know why this place gets a lot of mixed reviews. I’ve never had any problems with the quality in my opinion, it’s not the best place for tacos but it’s also not the worst. I’ve eaten here several times whenever I’m in the area and I get their fajita tacos. I’m an absolute fan of the salsa verde because it’s got a good kick to it. The prices are also very reasonable, parking is easy to find too. I like their horchata as well.

I think a lot of people get confused with all the copy’s of this restaurant. There are a lot of places that name themselves "Tacos La Bala" but they aren’t affiliated with this one. I’ve always eaten at the location on Bellaire Blvd.

Parking: It’s always easy to find parking over here, there is plenty of spots available.

Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen families bring their kids multiple times over here so there shouldn’t be any issues with that“
