“Great tacos I got the el carbon chicken and the pork. Two were more than enough but I could have eaten 2 more. The wings with mole or spicy enough but with the rich jalapeño cream they got an extra kick. Also the guacamole was excellent. I can wait to go back. Highly reccomended“

“This place serves up delicious fresh foods quickly at very reasonable prices. The fresh lemonade is excellent. The Cuban beef fajita taco was outstanding, as were the guacamole, plantains, and the grilled salmon. Brian at the front counter was very hospitable and gave service better than many sit down full service restaurants. I can't wait to go back and try something new there! The flavorful food tastes so fresh and is made to order quickly.“

Service was slower than expected because it was a one man show: cashier was also the chef. We decided to eat in person to wait out the traffic and the ambiance was nice because of the recently cool weather. Not the best tacos I've had but a decent place to fill up!“

I ordered a Vampiro drink (I believe that is what it was called) and it was healthy, freshly made, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered green chilaquiles and I ordered the breakfast croissant. Both were exquisite. Our server was amazing and very welcoming. There is a gentleman there taking care of the wait list and of cleaning up, and he too was very welcoming. We are from out of town so we weren’t knowledgeable about the menu, and the employees here were very understanding and answered any of the questions we had. Thank you!“

“We had a business lunch for some 40 people at La Tapatia located at 1749 Richmond Avenue. I was impressed by the service the restaurant manager Alberto provided from my initial contact through the end of the event and found him to be professional, trustworthy, and with an outstanding attitude towards his customers. Alberto offered suggestions and took personal ownership. Alberto's team especially Judith who helped with serving food did an outstanding job in making the event a very successful one. Overall, a great experience and outstanding value for money!“

“I had a wonderful brunch experience at Mexican Sugar today! Despite the hot weather, my friend and I chose to sit on the patio so she could have her puppy with us. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had two waiters, both of whom checked on us regularly, even though we were the only ones outside. One of them even brought water for the puppy, which was such a thoughtful touch. The manager also stopped by several times to make sure everything was perfect, and he was incredibly friendly. And let’s not forget the food—it was absolutely phenomenal! From the service to the cuisine, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Mexican Sugar for a fantastic dining experience!“
