Nice little coffee shop within the museum with several options for coffee, juice and other drinks. Pastries are pretty good. Seating is available in the museum or the outside patio.Kid-friendliness: Soft drinks and candy available.

Came here for a quick caffeine fix before exploring the museum. Guess they must have change their staff because both workers when I was there were super nice, friendly, and engaging. I ordered the iced chai latte and if was handcrafted - not poured out of a carton onto ice. It hit the spot. Only drawback, and this is not a reflection on the establishment itself, but you cannot take food or drinks into the museum exhibits, so be prepared to finish it in the lobby area or chug it...read full review

There are better choices for dining during a visit to HMNS. The grab and go options are mostly processed food; there are limited options for protein, fruits, or vegetables. On the plus side we experienced friendly service, and the hours are longer than at HMNS's cafe (that admittedly has a lot of fried food). The Pinewood Cafe in Hermann Park has healthier fare, or venture into Midtown.
