Unbelievable! My mother in law unfortunately visited this location today 9/8/2021 & after placing her order, the racist staff member (Hispanic male) proceeds to tell her that they don’t sell tacos or pupusas here implying because she’s Hispanic & ordered in Spanish that she only eats Latin American food. 😡 There’s no way he’d have dared say something so racist & rude to a customer of any other race or ethnic background. As out of towners, we went to this location on May 1, 2021. Placed an order for $20.31, and got charged on my debitf card for this amount 3 times! I have talked to management twice, assuring me we will get credited back the extra amount, but have not. It is now May 27, 2021, and can not get them on the phone number listed, which was also the number I talked to management. Weird the phone number won’t go through now. Came through the drive-through a few mondays ago order a fiesta chicken with no Chipotle mayo and no onions of any sort because I am allergic. When I received my sandwich it was drenched in chipotle mayo and had red onions. The lady at the window who I assume was the manager based on her shirt tell me that I did not ask for no Chipotle mayo that I asked for extra which was not my request. Based on the reviews, Schlotzsky's Deli is a well-known sandwich chain with a nice, clean, and quiet atmosphere. The restaurant has plenty of tables. The food is consistently good, with the Turkey Bacon Deluxe and turkey sandwich being classic choices. However, the potato soup is basically potato water with a few chunks of potato, and the bread can be sharp. Service varies by location; some employees are not super friendly, while others provide amazing customer service, being very helpful and honest about ingredient quality, like unripe avocados. One location got an order completely wrong, but another location delivered a large group order on time with no complaints. Parking can be difficult due to the location. Overall, the sandwiches taste good, and the experience can be positive depending on the staff.
