Their brown sugar cream brûlée drink IS THE BEST EVER!!! it been 1 month since my Hawaii vacation and I cannot stop thinking about it ... so I’ve been googling other locations and luckily found out there’s one in Irvine CA which is only 1 hour away from me and let me tell you I will not mind driving an hour all the way from San Diego just to get one I LOVE IT! 😍
Yikes I hate to admit it but the poor reviews are accurate. The ube brown sugar boba crème brûlée is a hard one to mess up but the ube liquid portion of the drink was super watered down, just tastes like Houston tap water colored purple. It wasn’t even sweet. I really like this drink normally too.. sad.
The crème brûlée was yum and the boba was fine though.

Based on reviews, The Alley China Town offers a modern and bright atmosphere, great for studying, though the flooring can look dirty even when clean. The staff are always smiling, polite, and take time to explain toppings. Drinks come with toppings already included, so no need to pick. The taro milk tea with added pudding had superb taro flavor. The Jasmine Green Milk Tea with less ice and 25% sugar was one of the weaker milk teas with minimal tea flavor and just okay boba. The signature Brown Sugar Boba Creme Brulee Milk is really easily drinkable but comes packed with 800+ calories. The housemade lychee jelly is fresh with a great soft texture. Nut allergy friendly drinks are available. Parking depends on how busy the Chinatown plaza is, rougher on Friday/Saturday nights. The bathroom pin code is on the receipt.
