Loved it, I got the tamales 🫔 😋. They were really and full. Service imo could be better. They spoke no English. Luckily for me a man behind me told them what I wanted. And he also said that's his favorite place for breakfast and lunch
The portions were super large I couldn't believe it and they gave us free samples on some of the food.

Based on the reviews, Tortillería Tlaxcali opens bright and early, as early as 4:30 am, making it a perfect stop for breakfast. The food is truly authentic Mexican food, far from Tex-Mex. The handmade flour tortillas are the real standout, fresh, soft, and just done right. The breakfast tacos are highly recommended; 2 tacos will hold you almost to dinner time. They also have fresh in-house made chicharrones with a very good flavor. The staff is consistently welcoming, sweet, and helpful. The service is a quick hello, what you need, goodbye type of service to move business in and out. The flavor of the food is crazy, and one plate is good enough for 2 or 3 people. The food is really fresh, and customers buy corn tortillas here instead of the grocery store. This place has outstanding food and is very traditional.
