quantity and quality are two different things. The amount of food is satisfying. however all four of my plates were broken when I received my trays. My pasta completely fell before I could even make it in the house. The food tastes straight like garlic and no other seasoning. I spent close to $200. The amount of food is all that I can go on. The only satisfying thing was the turkey neck. I was there first and was not acknowledged. two more ladies came out saying that they were...read full review
So this place popped up on my husband's Facebook a couple of weeks back and every time I wanted to go it was on a day they were closed. Today I was like I'm going to try them so I canceled my plans and drove the 40 minutes to the location. I am so glad I did. The service was top notch. So friendly and organized and smiles galore. The food..... OMG...... the food. words can not describe how good the Gumbo was. we also tried the pasta and shrimp with fried shrimp. The pasta...read full review
We visited 12/19/2023 and the combo (catfish & shrimp) was $21.99!!! 2 years ago it was $14.99? We spent $64 for two combos and a gumbo! Bland taste, it was not seasoned, not hot, fried too hard and the "Cajun Fries" (no seasoning and undercooked)...I don't think so! 1 piece of fish and 6-8 sm-med sized shrimp for $21.99, w/Texas (bread) Toast and 2 hush puppies with no flavor! Do better, please!

Wallie's Seafood, a food truck, serves up delicious gumbo that's worth the drive. This flavorful dish is packed with shrimp, sausage, chicken, and crab, and has just the right amount of kick. The roux is perfectly seasoned, and the portion is generous, filled to the rim with more meat than rice. Customers praise the flavor and richness of the gumbo, calling it one of the best in the Houston area. The owner’s team is friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Aside from gumbo, the menu features fried seafood, étouffée, and sides that are full of southern love and flavor. Many customers travel over 40 minutes just to get a bowl, highlighting how serious they are about this food. The food truck also offers other popular options like the Hungry Man seafood boil, which includes boiled corn, sausage, potatoes, a turkey neck, and boiled shrimp, reminiscent of Cajun seafood from New Orleans. Fresh lemonade is also available, mixed to perfection. Parking is available in nearby lots since street parking is not an option. With its rich flavor, impressive presentation, and passionate cooking, Wallie's gumbo is a must-try for anyone seeking a true taste of southern seafood. Customers have noted that the Jumbo Gumbo lives up to its reputation, with many calling it excellent. The Catfish plate is also a popular choice. While some have mentioned the sweetness of the Kool-Aid and the side charge for rice, the overall experience remains positive, with many feeling the food is always hot and fresh, making it definitely worth the wait.
