Yen Huong Bakery 燕香餅家 has been on my bookmark since covid pandemic. I found it during the Mid Autumn Festival at Viet Hoa Supermarket in SW Chinatown. I bought a box of moon cakes and noticing the address. I finally came to the actual bakery in EaDo area near the former Chinatown from the 80's. I got here around 5, but the door was closed. My wife and I stopped by their retail counter at the factory and bought a bunch of bakery products. All were super fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced. I've always sought out this brand at the grocers. Really friendly service. The family owned business is legendary in Houston, and hope it will continue to thrive.

Disappointed that Yen Huong Bakery is closed.I live in Wichita,KS, would like to find a similar Hopia. I tried another brand but it was not good. Tasted like onion in the bean filling which did not go with the sweet shell.
