“Our go-to place for dinner every week! It’s just as good to-go if you are in a rush also! The staff are amazing and the food is always good. Consistency is key when it comes to food/restaurants and they have it figured out! Their chips are amazing and fresh! I HIGHLY recommend the chile relleno plate with steak and queso. My husband’s fav is the Carne Asada plate. We also recommend the Asado de Puerco (tell them spicy) and the QUESO! *I will add photos the next time I order*“

“We enjoyed the food. A little confusing when entering, who knew you order before you find a seat. Go here for the food, we really found it authentic. Presentation not so much, everything served in take-out trays. We would go there again :-)“

“We moved to Sherman 2 years ago and we recently found an excellent Mexican food restaurant in Sherman. Bruno’s Mexican Kitchen has great enchiladas and I love the chicken fajita salad. The guacamole is so fresh, some of the best I have ever had! The wait staff is so prompt and friendly. It is very clean and has fun decor! It definitely 5 stars in my book!!“

“We had dinner there 5:30 pm on 3/23/2024 and it was excellent! The food was really good, served hot and tasty. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and he was extremely accomodating to another couple with us that were vegetarians. He had the kitchen make up some spinach and mushroom enchiladas. Very clean restrooms and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. We will certainly visit again when we are in Van Alstyne!“

“Small but very authentic little tex-mex restaurant. Amazingly, their food has never made me sick despite me having multiple digestive issues/restrictions, which makes them a winner in my book. Food is VERY good, but only some of it is mind-blowing. Very big portions, so expect leftovers. Service is prompt and able to handle complex orders in English.“

“Today was my very first experience at Mariana’s. I brought my family and we enjoyed the food. The green and red sauce were very good. The rice and beans were so good I could have just eaten it together. We ordered a chicken plate, burrito, and two tacos. The rice and beans are delicious and flavor was A1. I would say this is more of a casual eating spot, and come as you are. My favorite part was the experience of culture here. “Tonight I had nachos Nelly way and I They were some of the best nachos that I’ve had in years Nice and crisp Were nice and crispy. The beans were delicious right amount of cheese and right amount of Asada. It was a nice dinner for a Friday night. If y’all want to eat good food, go see Nelly at tacos Dan Lupe Miguel is an awesome guy in the back that is always there to help, and so is the new cashier that they have great place. “Van Alstyne is filled with Pizza and Tex Mex on every corner. The only problem with that is they are all fantastic and it can be months before places like El Patio have their turn in the rotation. If you live in VA or looking for a quick stop off 75 this place is well worth the stop.“

“Chef Angel has become our regular “jam” for mouth watering Mexican food in Sherman. Now that we’ve been here a dozen+ times we know is consistently awesome.We have many favorites but for your first time I recommend you try the Fajitas - you will not be let down. Kaylee is our usual server and she remembers our preferences and is always so nice to us. The Chefs name is actually Victor (his kids name is Angel and he knows what is UP).We are huge fans of Chef Angel Mi Restaurante and will be coming back for years!!“
