“So we got the Dubai chocolate, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, double chocolate chip, oatmeal rasin, oatmeal chocolate chip, a chocolate brownie and a salted caramel blondie. All. Of. Them. are good! They are fresh and delicious. They put the perfect amount of creme filling in the middle of the Dubai chocolate cookies. Some of the topping did fall of the top so be careful taking that first bite! I have zero complaints. The smell of the shop had me so ready to try the cookies! The packaging is too cute. They also have different packaging options for multiple occasions! “Sorry it's taken me a few days to get this review done. I'm just woken up from a tiramisu coma. I believe my wife who ordered it and Tiffany that made it are for some reason conspiring to murder me. It's been a few years since I have had the delight of eating the tiramisu from Baked and Sconed as they don't make it very often. For my birthday my wife says that she had a surprise for me and proceeds to hand me a turkey roasting pan covered in foil. It was so heavy I almost dropped it. I thought she was being cute and had packed the new wrench set that I was wanting in the pan based on the weight that can only be described as boat anchorish. As I peeled back the layer of foil, a golden glow hit me in the face. It was like the scene out of Pulp Fiction when Samuel Jackson opened the briefcase and showed Marcellus Wallace's soul. I immediately took this sacred package into the kitchen rummaged through the silverware drawer to find the biggest spoon that would fit into my mouth and began to hover over it growling and elbowing anyone that came close to me. My child wanted a bite, and I scared her off so bad that I haven't seen her in a couple days. The taste can only be described as what it must be like to have an angel take a dump directly on my tongue. It was glorious. Hats off to Tiffany for doing it right as always and for not charging extra for the forklift rental that it certainly must have taken to get it into the car.“

“Small little donut shop with lots of donut , koache, breakfast sandwiches and a few breakfast tacos. Lots of drink options. 4 or 5 tables if you want to sit and eat. Donuts are super fresh and tasty. They warmed our kolaches and they were yummy. Simple little place but everything is homemade.“

“Big taste, bigger heart! In the days following the Central Texas floods, Lulu showed up to help with the flood cleanup, ready to get her hands dirty. She worked alongside people who had been displaced by the flood, and told me several times that any time any of the flood relief volunteers or survivors needed a warm cup of coffee, she would love for them to come by the shop and provide that at no charge. I thanked her for supporting our community, but never personally made it by there, although I did share that with others! Today I went in to drop off a barrel for food collections because of course she jumped at the opportunity to support those struggling in our community in another way. I told her how much I appreciated her, and how sad I was that I couldn’t eat any of the amazing goodies in her cute shop because I have Celiac disease. She showed me several treats that are gluten free and said she was very careful about cross contamination. She GAVE me a massive piece of her Basque Cheesecake, which I could not wait to get back to the car and try. Oh. My. Goodness. This stuff is actual heaven. It’s hands down the best cheesecake, gluten free or not, I have ever had. And I’m a foodie. I savored several bites (didn’t even wait to get home to a fork), and decided it was going to be my dinner. I also resolved to save some for breakfast. O have gotten back into the container FIVE times now as I continue delivering barrels and posters. I don’t think this little miracle of a treat is making it to breakfast 😂. If you want lovely treats in a cute store on the Most Beautiful Square in Texas served by an absolutely wonderful human, you have to go check out Lulu’s. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Lulu herself.“

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Simon Lee Bakery and owner, Judy Lee and the incredible job they did on our wedding cake! From the very first consultation, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to bring our vision to life.The final cake was -delicious, elegant, and exactly what we had imagined. They worked together with the florist to make our cake look amazing! The taste? Absolutely unforgettable. We got a 2 tier lemon custard & cream, 1/2 sheet of salted caramel and 1/2 sheet of white cake with amaretto. We had so many guests talking about our cake even weeks after the wedding. The team was professional, punctual, and a dream to work with. They handled everything with care and made the process stress-free, which is no small thing when you’re planning a wedding! Thank you, Judy Lee and Simon Lee Bakery for being such a special part of our day and creating something that was not only stunning but so meaningful to us. “Poindexter Confections absolutely nailed it for my birthday event! The chocolate chip toffee cookies were phenomenal—soft, chewy, and full of flavor. Her cookie jars were a fun and delicious touch, and the custom-made sugar cookies were not only beautiful and exactly what I wanted but tasted amazing too. You can tell everything is baked fresh with care. Poindexter Confections is super professional, prompt, high quality and her prices are very reasonable. I Highly recommend her for any occasion—her baked goods were a total hit!

“These folks are not the same as Sugar Mama's in South Austin but they are just as friendly, if not more so. Lorraine helped us and was very patient and helpful. They were apparently also teaching a cooking or baking class in an adjacent room.

My brother Mitch lost a bet and had to pick up a cookie dressed as a full-on fairy princess—pink tutu, feather boa, tights, ballet slippers, and, of course, those ruffled bloomers that added just the right touch of humiliation. The poor guy had to endure the longest walk of shame from his car to the store and back😂, tutu bouncing with every reluctant step. But once he got inside? The real fun began.

Every time someone said “tutu,” Mitch had to twirl and proudly declare, “I feel pretty, oh so pretty!” And let me tell you, they said it A LOT. The staff was in tears laughing, customers were pulling out their phones, and Mitch? Well, he looked like he was enjoying it a little too much.

Then came the final blow—they handed him a special cookie decorated with an icing tutu, a perfect reminder of his suffering. But just when he thought it was over, he was informed that the staff had captured the moment for social media. So now, somewhere out there, Mitch’s ballerina debut is forever immortalized online.

Oh, and the best part? I hear the owner wasn’t there to witness it and has asked Mitch to COME BACK so they don’t miss out on the show. Apparently, his performance was just that good. We will make this happen if that’s true!!

I have a few favor donut places in Illinois and Indiana where I am from. But these donuts at Round Rock will give any donut place a run for their money.
