“I’m visiting from Florida and I wanted tacos because it’s Tuesday. I found this lovely family oriented restaurant on Google and came with an open mind. This place is super clean, the food is beyond delicious and the staff are warm and inviting. Oh, bilingual as well, which always helps me.
Parking: Plenty of parking up front
Kid-friendliness: The staff are welcoming to kids

“One of the best experiences I’ve had at a casual restaurant. I visited on 10/10 around 11AM, I forgot I didn’t have my card on me but the staff was patient and I placed it online. they helped me add a bottle of hot sauce and showed me how to use the app. Food was still out fast, the steak on my tacos were cooked perfect and fresh. As a restaurant manager at another brand myself I really appreciated everything!“

“Great portion sizes, the tacos were loaded with meat for the price. The service was also fast. The tacos (pastor and asada) were good but not great, I think they were a little bland. The salsa with them was really good.
So to summarize, I will be going back and they are good tacos, they just are not the best I have had.“

“Not a single item in this menu will disappoint you!! My personal favorites include Trompo burger, Trompo burrito Trompo fries, chilaquiles, 3 taco plate, . Wish they'd get out of the gas station though and be able to buy my drink from them instead of having to do a deportation transaction for drinks. Item pictured is the Trompo burger“

“The food is great and it’s family owned. I love getting the Sopes, Gorditas and Caldo de Res. We take our whole family... my siblings, brother-in-laws, parents, cousins and everyone is happy! We’ve tried everything from Quesadillas, Tacos, Pambazos, Tortas... everything is great. They even have handmade tortillas and aguas frescas de Horchata, tamarindo, melón (cantaloupe) and and sandia (watermelon) they’re all fresh and delicious.“

“A group of us went to Tava Tacos for lunch. The food was amazing. Very authentic taste. We devoured our food and actually wanted more but unfortunately we where to full. The prices seriously can not be beat. We had a Great Experience at this taco shop!“

“One of the best Mexican restaurants in DFW, and definitely one the best halal restaurants in the area. It’s my go to restaurant when I’m in the area. Definitely get their food during the day time on the weekdays as the chef is different on the weekends. And don’t forget the Mexican Coca Cola! There is nothing like it.“

“Made to order authentic Mexican food, fresh and hot. Delicious and tasty. Stopped to get gas and saw two little latinas cooking in the corner and had to try it out, I’ll definitely stop by more from now one. They have a little area to sit and enjoy. 5 star all the way. Have to try it.“

“Home Torchy’s location, somewhat of a semi-regular (gotta make use of that Queso Gold Card). Favorite spot, always an awesome atmosphere. Food is incredible (as usual), and Pypurr and Karma are incredible bartenders. Kind, skilled, and talented hospitality professionals. Always a wonderful visit!“
