“We were in town for our nephew's Fire Academy graduation. La Mesa refused to seat our party of 12. ( They refused to divide us and seat 3 parties of 4 as well)Went down the way to The Brickhouse Grill where the manager not only opened the door to welcome us in, but personally served our party. “Daniela and Ryan took care of our table. The service was fast and the good food was amazing. The biscuits were fresh and hot. They also gave my boyfriend a key lime pie for his bday. Excellent fresh toast and the omlettes are amazing. Prices are good for breakfast compared to the quality of what's around here such as IHOP and Ol South. Thus place is way better than the other places. Go here and get a wide selection of healthy food as well. They have so many southern favorites. Not dissatisfied at all. Thank you.“

“This is a hidden gem of an upscale dive bar and restaurant. We say at the bar where Currin and Sarah were on point! Super friendly, and they never let out beers get empt even though the place was packed. This is also a family owned local business, which we love to support. We had the adult Mac and cheese and the chips and queso, both were really good. We'll definitely be back to try more of the food and listen to some karaoke.“

“We arrived on a Wednesday evening at 8pm. It wasn't busy. We were a party of 3 and seated right away. Our server Crystal was very attentive, prompt, helpful, and personable. She gave us a welcome sample platter. It was a pretty good variety of items like chowder, gumbo, and oysters! We ordered the crab mushrooms and fried jalapeños for appetizers. The fried jalapeños had no flavor whatsoever. Our entrees were fish and chips along with the Asian glazed salmon special that was offered. We also ordered red beans and rice, which were delicious. I had 2 Moscow mules, which were good. My friend had 2 Mojitos that she enjoyed. We also had the oysters. They seemed like they were rationing the lemon slices. All in all, it was a nice evening for a good seafood dinner, and this restaurant provided accordingly. I really can't stress enough how much Crystal was there without us having to call out for her first!“

My husband and I were thrilled when we found this hidden gem in the heart of downtown Cleburne. This place was a suggestion from the lovely lady that runs the Gone With The Wind Museum about 8 miles up the road. She loves this place!! Definitely go to the museum it's worth it!!“
“Food...where to begin! They have many burgers to choose from, I've never had a bad one. Avocado Pepper Jack is probably my go to. Bacon Jammer is one I have yet to try but oh it sounds amazing. They also have several sandwiches to choose from, as well as salads. There are several options for burger add ons, mushrooms, bacon, chili and several more. Service...the staff there is always smiling and friendly any time I've been. Unfortunately I don't live close and don't get to go as often as I'd like. Ambiance...The restaurant is in an old gas station. The owners have done a great job of turning it into a restaurant with tables and such. The wall the kitchen is on has the extensive menu. What's nice is the pics of the food! It's always nice to know the appearance of what you're getting. This also helps in making a decision on what you might order. The decor has much of cleburnes history on it with the rail road and trains plastered every where. I will say the used to have a train going around the top trim that went in tunnels and thelastti.e I went I was not going around. “Showed up for the live music, will be back due to the southern hospitality. I had an amazing time here. Everyone was very friendly from the time I walked in. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and two drinks while at the bar in back. The bartender I met there goes down as a all time favorite. He was friendly, lively and kept my drinks behind the bar when I went to the bathroom. Then Kim took my picture with the artist I came to see and invited me back for lunch sometime. The decor is unique and has a down-home flare. For dessert, we had the lemon cake and italian cream. Loved the lemon cake! The Italian cream had coconut on it. Keep that in mind. “We are visiting family in Cleburne and checked this place out for breakfast. First time here. You seat yourself wherever you want. We were acknowledged as soon as we walked in and tended to right away. Our waitress was kind and made sure to get our food order correct to avoid any delay. The other servers kept up with coffee refills and were kind as well. I tried the migas and they were good. My husband and daughter had the French Toast platter and that was really good as well. I wanted to propose in the gardens because we had met there and he decided to propose in the restaurant with the help of their friendly staff. they prepared an elaborate 4 course meal for us and it was a great experience. We loved the attention and pampering so much that we had our reception there! the food was awesome and we got a lot of compliments from the guests. we will be celebrating our anniversary there!“
