“Decided on Good Friday to come to Our Place Restaurant (Burleson) for an early morning breakfast. It’s always crowded here, but seeing as they open at 6:00am wanted to give it a shot. People still waiting in the parking lot for an Open this early is telling about this community staple! Food is always fantastic. Got the jalapeño sausage skillet with a couple extra additions. Was promptly seated and served. My server Tracey is just simply an amazing person! Attentive/ caring / and extremely helpful. Honestly she made my morning! If you come here, ask for Tracey to serve you!“

“Old gas station turned burger joint. Burgers are great! They have sandwiches, salads, chicken and hot dogs too! Fries, tots, cheese stix and more for sides. Recently added tater kegz. Homemade desserts, ice cream and shakes to boot. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!“

“It was our 1st time trying Grump's. We had heard of them by word of mouth. Nothing but rave reviews & a must try spot we were told. They were right! I got the regular cheeseburger with onion rings with a root beer (it was the best root beer I've had in ages) & my husband got the Burleson Special Burger, dirty fries & a root beer. We really enjoyed our burgers they were beyond good, very juicy & full of flavor. The onion rings were good but they were just average. The dirty fries were ok just plain fries with onions & jalapenoes thrown on top nothing special about them. If they would add bacon bits & melted cheese OMG those would of elevated the fries, but that's just our opinion. We will return those burgers, were delicious! If you haven't tried them you're missing out on some great burgers & a friendly, attentive staff.“

“Today, 9 Nov 24, my wife and myself stopped at Cotton Patch. It was cool outside so we asked for coffee. Waiter informed us that the coffee machine was broke and had been for over two weeks. So my wife asked for hot cocoa. But they don’t serve hot cocoa. But the meal was very good.“

“We’ve been coming recently for dinner and have had Aj as our server a few times. He’s always so friendly and very attentive even when we are sitting in the outside area. We never feel forgotten about, we never have empty cups and he’s always making sure everything comes out great for us. The burgers are what you should be coming here for and that jalapeño bun.. YUM! The appetizers are yummy fried foods and exactly what you would expect at a burger joint, the salads taste fresh with great ranch! The chicken sandwich I would honestly skip, they don’t even come close to the fresh yummy tasting burgers! They have games outside that is great to keep the kids entertained, they have live music nights, the owner is also always around and making sure everyone is happy. I would say this business is a great addition to Godley and we appreciate having a fun restaurant with a great atmosphere like this in town!“

The entrées and sides were the highlight of the visit — well‑prepared, flavorful, and worth the price.

This is where things fell short.
The service felt detached, as if the waitress was distracted or simply going through the motions. The overall vibe in the restaurant — felt unusually downcast, which affected the dining experience.

I would absolutely visit this franchise again, because the food is worth it. But returning to the Burleson location specifically is questionable based on the atmosphere and service during this visit.“

So we said let's try Waffle House on Renfro. There was a place for all seven of us to sit and they weren't completely slammed, but yet they were still busy. I'll tell you, I've been coming to this location for at least 15 years and i've never had a bad meal here, ever. Today was no exception. The way that the staff worked with each other in tandem with the servers was something to watch. Surprisingly, our waitress and the other ones that were there, kept cool under pressure and handled us with grace and attentiveness. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and was in amazing spirits since it was Christmas. So big thanks to the entire staff that handled the 7 of us and as well as everyone else that was there today!“

Staff remembers my name and drink order every time I walk in, regulars are about as friendly as a dive bar gets, the owner is usually there and is a really cool guy and a veteran to boot. “I visited for the first time due to Andrew Sevener performing and loved the atmosphere. Everyone was extremely friendly from the time I walked in. One of the bartenders, who was working near the stage, kept my drinks safe while I went to the bathroom. As someone who's frequently out alone, I couldn't have appreciated that more! Then Kim texted me my picture with Andrew and invited me back. What a nice group of people. It was my first time in Burleson, TX and I felt very welcomed. The food and drinks were great as well. No doubt I'll visit again. Highly recommend!“

They were a little understaffed that day because the dirty plates sat at our table for extended periods of time but when one asked them to remove it, they would do it immediately. Tried the skillet cheeseburger...interesting concept but the melted cheese just made the food stick to the skillet. A lot of cheese still stuck to skillet...maybe need new skillets.“
