“Well I drive through Jourdanton everyday for work. Well today I decided that instead of my normal get some delicious tacos and go I would try their French Toast plate.. I don’t know if it was because it was a special but the two eggs were perfectly cooked and the potatoes had a nice crisp with a soft center and the bacon was crisp and tasty.. But the main item was what I was after. I’m not sure if it was the two Texas sized pieces of toast or that it had been grilled just enough or just right, but it could have been the sugary flavor that was sprinkled on top. But this by far had to be the best French toast plate that I’ve ever had. Thanks again👍👍“

“My brother Mando recommended this place after I moved closer to Poteet and is was well worth stopping here. The food is great, tasty 😋, and not a long wait. The staff is friendly, attentive, accurate and also have a sense of humor. The atmosphere was welcoming and homey. I would recommend this place to anyone in Poteet or going through Poteet.“

“My family & I had bacon,egg, & chesse tacos, sausage & egg tacos, & carne casada with chesse tacos. Food was good. Tacos didn't have a lot of eggs & the tortillas were small. Also didn't realize their breakfast tacos went up. The menu I saw on here said 1.50 but they have updated their menu so I took a picture of the new menu & posted it. Customer service was good though the ladys that work the stand were nice.
Note: Torillas are store bought.“
“ALL my life, and I'm 51, I have eaten nothing but Del Rio! The tamales are #1. The barbacoa is #1. The salsas are #1. The corn and flour tortillas are #1. The chicharones are so fresh and #1. “This hidden little gem is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the county. Their pricing is well below other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and hot and made from scratch. Tables are clean and the service is attentive. Would 10/10 recommend anyone coming to eat a meal here.“

“Love the barbacoa. When we are on the road and close to Pleasanton, we stop by. I try my best to drive in atleast once a month from Corpus Christi, just to buy it. Enjoy the corn tortillas also. 4 years of eating here, great place with friendly employees!“

“Wonderful place to eat, best menudo I tasted-and I have tasted all menudos in Jourdanton-Pleasanton and Poteet. They have a special. a small bowel of menudo and barbacoa tacos for only $10.00 great food and great prices. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is peaceful. No loud music or tvs. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I enjoyed every minute of my time eating there. I do plan and going back again.“
