“Popped in today with my daughter—she grabbed a milkshake, and I treated myself to a churro cupcake (because self-care, obviously).

She said the milkshake was “watery, but good,” which is kind of like saying someone’s funny, but only by accident. She slurped it down in under five minutes, probably because there wasn’t much thickness slowing her down.

As for my churro cupcake—it was good! Not “angels-singing, fireworks-exploding” good, especially at $4 a pop, but good enough to keep me curious. I’ll definitely be back to give another flavor a shot. Maybe next time the milkshake will come with a little more shake and a little less milk.“

“I have to express how great of a weekly experience it is to eat at Pie Five Keller. They know me by name when I walk in and know the couple of unique pizzas I prefer. One of which is Gluten Free crust for my daughter, who has Celiac. They make sure to do a glove change, and use different utensils when pulling it out of the oven to make sure no cross-contamination. Always a 5 star experience.“

We tried the Veggie Soup, Tofu Lettuce Wrap , Pad Thai and Mango with Sticky rice.

All three were really good. Very fresh and tasty. will definitely go back and will recommend.

Just to note: Little bit on the expensive side. Service fee (Tip) of 18% as well.

“Mr. Jim’s has ruined all other pizza for me. The stuffed crust is the absolute best. I had to order Dominoes stuffed crust in Lubbock because there wasn’t a Mr. Jim’s and it was so limp and flavorless. Mr. Jim’s is the best! The store in Justin is especially awesome, though. I order from them frequently and they treat me like a valued customer. The customer service and and food is top notch!“

“For the price, this place is basically a five-star restaurant. The food was excellent overall—great flavor, generous portions, and definitely a good value. The fajitas were tasty, though a bit on the tough side, which is the only reason I wouldn’t give a full five stars.

The experience was a little awkward at first. There wasn’t anyone at the front to greet us, and it took someone noticing the growing line to step in and seat us. Unfortunately, we were placed at a dirty table, but they quickly noticed, apologized, and cleaned it up right away.

We also almost ordered from the lunch menu but were informed it’s only available Monday through Friday. Not a big deal, just added to the slightly disjointed feel of the service.

“I attended a Tiffon Cognac tasting on Friday at the Whiskey Crusaders. The Cognacs were paired with amazing desserts from the neighboring bakery Cookies Crumbs and Crust. What amazing pairings! A flakey crust apple tart, a buttery delightful raisin cookie (paired with the grape based Cognac), the most amazing molten chocolate cookie, a creamy light Tiramisu, and my favorite - a perfect Macaron filled with a cream made with Tiffon Cognac Cream. Amazing. If you are in the Hurst area - this is a must go to bakery for all your cake, cookies and pastry needs. So much better than anything else I've had in TX! I am so glad to have discovered a true gem in Hurst!“
