​What an incredible meal! From start to finish, everything at Lupe Tortilla in Kemah hit the spot.
​Appetizers & Drinks, We kicked things off with the queso, creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, along with outstanding chips and salsa. The margarita was perfectly balanced, crisp, refreshing, and tasty.
​The Main Event, We ordered a pound of the beef fajitas with all the fixings. The beef was amazingly tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The portions were so generous we even had leftovers to look forward to!
​The Tortillas, You can't skip mentioning those iconic, paper-thin, fresh tortillas, absolutely legendary.

He really went above for us tonight when I asked about them doing anything for birthdays, he let me know they don’t do that anymore, but that he would love to sing for her. He gave her a huge shout out at the restaurant and had our whole section singing- and brought her a delicious tres leches slice! We will definitely be back to specifically sit in his section!“

“This place is great, my husband and I never spend more than $40 to eat here. They are known for their Puffy Tacos (corn tortilla). The plate is less than $15 for 2 tacos, beans and rice. The tacos are pretty loaded. Their cheese enchiladas are good. I will state that the enchiladas are more tex-mex (my fav), so they are really cheesy and have a chile con carne sauce. The margaritas aren't my thing, but I'm picky, so they might be yours. The staff is always kind and attentive.“

“Omg the fajita meat is amazing! My daughter got the birria tacos; she said they were juicy and the dipping sauce was delicious! Very prompt and courteous service! Prices are average… Birria tacos come with (3) @$15 and all the fixings Fajitas for one are approx $20 Quesadillas are the freaking BOMB @ $15 for a 1/2 Overall!!! A WIN!!!! “The food and service overall was a good experience. Got the 3 for Me special and the total for a family of 4 was right under $60 and that included dessert. Food was hot and only this wrong was the particular dessert but that was no fault of the server. Will definitely consider coming back.“

“I have to give Diego the manager, and Thomas the waiter a five-star rating for exceptional service. They went above and beyond their call of duty. In addition, the food we ordered was amazing! We had one of the fajita combination platters. The lamb chops were amazing and so were the beef fajitas. I highly recommend this restaurant and Thomas the waiter!“

“A very active and busy restaurant! This place is constantly moving. The staff are amazing. Table turnaround from guest leaving to cleanup to new guest seated was amazingly quick. The wait staff are active in recommending good food if you dont know what to eat. They are regularly checking in and animated and talkative with you when checking on you. The manager makes a point to stop by every table to make sure you are enjoying the food. Manager even grabbed a broom to sweep a mess up and pulled dishes to help clean as well as helped run food out. They have a system and it works. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the Chicken Fajitas. Juicy, tender and amazing. The salsa and other fresh ingredients are fantastic as well. Just the right kick from the homemade salsa.“

“I go to Chuy’s every year to celebrate my birthday… clearly I already love it! This visit was different - it was my last Tex-Mex before flying to the UK where I’ll spend the next several years abroad! It was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had. The food was great, as usual, but the staff were top notch! Our waitress Tee was kind, personable, and so excellent at her job! :) She even brought out this sweet treat to celebrate me! Additionally, the manager, Michael was warm and friendly and talked with us a couple of times! The BEST last Tex-Mex experience before heading across the pond!“

“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! Next on our list is their BBQ restaurant! Can't wait!“

They absolutely love the food and the customer service is beyond amazing! They always smile and say hello, such a great place to eat!“

“I hadn't been to Betos in YEARS, stopped for quick lunch with a friend and it was great, actually much better than it used to be. Food was excellent and very generous portions. I had chicken quesadilla with rice and refried beans, beans were so good smokey and perfectly seasoned. Quesadilla was full of veggies and lots of chicken. We are going back for pupusas, that looked really good!“

“The waiter Huber basically told us what not to order. NOTE When you come to this location bring your own silverware, we had to share a knife among 3 people. The enchiladas & steak, more like a slice of brisket drenched in a salty cheese sauce. Awful!! The beef enchilada, unflavored ground meat, again drenched in a red sauce WITH cheese. Cancun tilapia again with cheese and 8 tiny cocktail shrimp - no garlic sauce The plate was hot but not the food. At 8ish on a saturday night they only had 3 or 4 tables, no more than 12 people, including us 3 If they were starting to close for the day, they should've close the area they were cleaning. I don't appreciate smelling 'Fabuloso" while I'm eating with the mop bucket next to my table. Really your motto should be "Why are you still in business..." Marked as 1st and last on places not to visit. Overpriced for the food quality“

“We’ve been fans of all of the locations of Barcenas for years. The Marina Bay location is every bit as exceptional as the others. The food is consistently delicious, the service is outstanding. Nelly is so welcoming and makes sure every single table is happy. Manny is always just the absolute best and incredibly patient with our indecisiveness. You can’t beat the Taco Tuesday prices and they serve breakfast all day every day! A great experience every time we visit!! I’ll put some pictures in the comments.“
