“I visited with my brother. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant and helpful when we trying to figure out what we wanted. However the couple that ordered after us were given WAY more details and options available. As in lean or fatty brisket when we both ordered the brisket meal. The lady also only asked them if they were first responders, prior military etc. She did not ask us that question at all. My brother and I are both 100% disabled combat vets with multiple deployments between us. Please treat all of your customers with the same respect and courtesy when offering discounts because I would have liked to save some of the fifty plus dollars I spent with you all today. Plus the tip. We will not be returning because of this.“

“The staff was very nice, we were even offered free drinks while we waited. It took about 10 minutes after we ordered to get our food(we were the only people there at the time).
We went around 6PM, so that could influence the food some. For 2 people, we spent around $60 and we just got 2 meals and no drinks. The portions were very large though, so we'll have leftovers.
The sides we had were mac n-cheese, dirty rice and potato salad and they were all really good. I would say the sides were the best part.
The rest was decent. The BBQ sauce had good flavor, but the brisket and sausage were on the dry side for me. They weren't dry, but typically brisket will fall apart, and be really juicy and this wasn't. It was REALLY smokey. My wife asked for lean brisket(I did not) so I'm wondering if they just went lean for both. The brisket was tender(you could bite through it easily), but it wasn't like falling apart tender. The sausage was decent, but nothing special for me. The cornbread was just okay.“

“If you are hankering for the best hamburger in town, this is the place to come. Our ultimate favorite is the Hangover Burger. You will be licking your fingers I promise! Their steak fries and onion rings are so good. Great price for the amount of food you get, homemade for sure. This will be your new favorite place to eat a good down home burger!“

“I was in the area and looked for bbq places nearby as I was unfamiliar with the area. The pictures of the food looked appealing so I went. When i got to the restaurant, I was served promptly. The ribs were delicious! They were soft and easy to chew. I almost didn't need bbq sauce they were so good. The potato salad was creamy! I have a new favorite bbq restaurant“

“I like it here. My folks and I come by for special occasions-- birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, you get it. Three weeks ago I came here by myself after a long day at work and I ordered a chocolate stampede. I took it home and ate it for four days. I have been thinking about that chocolate stampede ever since.“

“The wait is a little long, but the food is worth it and you will likely have leftovers. On busy holidays you have to book a reservation way ahead of time but on less busy days a reservation is helpful but not totally required. The workers and atmosphere is great with delicious bread rolls to fill up on.“

“Restaurant is inside the Holiday Inn hotel (though it has another entrance outside the hotel). A good choice if you are at the hotel waiting for your shuttle or flight got canceled. Spacious, with a bar and has a sleek design. The food, during my visit, was a 50/50 experience. The chopped brisket cheese melt was hands down perfection. The side fries that came with the entree were slightly undercooked and some did feel stale when chewing despite having appropriate salt and seasoning. The house salad was great too. When I arrived only one waitress was manning the tables and bar. The place wasn’t filled but she did a great job attending everyone at a good pace and she was very friendly serving with a smile.“
