“its my first time here. 3-21-26 the staff was helpful and friendly, I loved my Tipsy chicken taco! the price is right, too. Kate quickly brought to go containers, and chatted with us for a bit. Im sure she was swamped, but she took the time to answer my questions. That meant a lot to me. so,thank you, Torchy's for a lovely lunch.“

“The food was delicious! Me and my mama went and she got some 10/10 pupusas and a really great horchata! I got some Chile rellenos that were perfect and sooo cheesy, 10/10 as well. The restaurant is very clean and amazing atmosphere, service was wonderful. Prices are amazing as well, if you're reading this, STOP and go try their food!!!!“

Lo único decepcionante para mi es que dos veces eh ordenado Gorditas de Chicharrón Prensado y al llegar a la casa me doy cuenta que es de chicharrón duro o peya como se le conoce en Torreon. Esta última vez llame para estar segura que tenían del prensado y me dijeron que si pero no me dan el correcto. No se cual sea el problema si las de cocina o la que atiende la orden o simplemente no saben la diferencia entre uno y otro“

“My family and I have been going here for YEARS. Today after driving over an hour to visit my sons grave at the cemetery we came for our usual food. There was a VERY obnoxious lady who spoke so LOUD that everyone could hear her. For a "Family" restaurant the staff, even the manager would not say or do anything. She is one of their regulars and she is white. I am white as well but she was throwing racial slurs, talking about abortions, affairs and dead babies. There were very small children around. One family had to get up and walk out leaving food untouched. This lady, we will call her Kansas City Chiefs white trash, kept downing drink after drink requesting extra vodka. I learned all about her son and daughter and how disappointed she was. As soon as she got to the dead babies part I had to leave with my 10 year old. She was THAT loud. My friend told her maybe she should not be as loud to which she cussed her out and told her "HER PRESIDENT says it is ok". Sit at the bar next time lady. You triggered me and made me sad for your family. I have never done a review like this but since obviously management is too scared to say something I will. And Kansas City lady if you see this, you owe my son and I an apology. Thanks for ruining our trip to see my mom and sons grave.“

“Fantastic service and excellent food! Drinks were delicious. We ate here while on town for a dance competition and we will definitely return when we’re in the area! So wonderful and such a breath of fresh air having kind, attentive service that appeared to enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend!!“

“I was really craving some steak tacos. I moved up here about 6 years ago and there used to be a really good taco place and now it's gone. Then Oscar was around the corner and now they're gone. I came to try this place out because I was craving street tacos so bad. I was physically emotionally and mentally exhausted when I went into place my order. I don't eat pork but I accidentally said carnitas instead of carne asada. I got home and realized my mistake and I called back up here and the super nice lady asked her manager if there is any way they could switch my meal out for me. I was ready to admit defeat and just live with my incident and throw the food away since I can't eat pork. Luckily the manager went ahead and said that they would switch out my meal for me! I offered to pay up charge since they're losing money on me but she said it was fine they would just switch it out. We'll come back 100% 10 out of 10“

“This is my favorite taqueria in Denton. Great tamales, BEST tortas, and their meat is always delicious. Best Menudo in town and their customer service is 5 🌟. not to mention, BEST prices around!“

“I'm from out-of-state and when I arrived in town I ordered a dozen of the peas & potato enchiladas and tamales for a family gathering for the Labor Day weekend. The food was off the charts! It's the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine south of the border. Literally, I was homesick for Mexican food and La Estrella Mini Market hit the bullseye. Thank you again for the wonderful experience of your food. You're the BEST in your field. You're definitely worth the trip! See you soon.“

“I visit this OTB once a week for great service every time, I've never had any problems here. Happy Hour specials on food are good deals. Drinks are excellent according to my friend who drinks. Emma the bartender is outstanding & runs the bar singlehandedly & flawlessly.“

“For some reason our bank was showing we had been paid for the full amount for our food, but their system wasn’t registering it. Who I am assuming is the manager was really sweet and helped take care of us and made sure we were good. Wish I got her name to fully shout her out cause she was amazing 🤍“

“Delicious breakfast burritos ? called in and took 10 minutes. Made fresh to order and I found it a week ago and this time I remembered to take photos.Small taqueria inside DK gas station.Order your food, grab drinks from the convenience store side and wait till food ready.I dumped 1 mild green salsa because I thought I could handle it from previous week. Mistake ? So spicy but why is it so good.I would stop here anytime I'm in the area going forward. Can't wait to try the other items.Try this local place out!“

“Imagine chipotle, but better, cheaper, and more fantastic. The meat is very good. Especially the habanero lime steak (I think it’s limited) but it’s very very good. Anytime I get a bowl I always leave full and satisfied. I paid a decent price, for a great meal. They aren’t shy on your portions either, you can also easily get double, or even triple steak, without it quadrupling the cost.“

“We just had a party of 16 in Miguelto’s in Krum. When we walked in the person setting up our tables was not so friendly about it. Then our server headed over to our table. Her name was Brittany D. She was fabulous!! She handled our order like a champ and kept our drinks filled and our chips and salsa filled as well. Outstanding job Brittany!!! So glad you were our server!! The food was amazing as well!“
