“Road trip to Dripping Spring from Houston to watch grandson play baseball, to celebrate a win we decided to stop in for barbecue. We ordered brisket(very flavorful and tender), jalapeño cheddar sausage( no complaints from the wife) fries( plenty with a nice touch of season) , mustard potato salad (thumbs up)and for dessert apple pie and banana pudding( preference for me was the banana pudding).Service and Staff were great!Thanks Bill for having us we will definitely be back!“

“The server too quiet, barely hear her, did not know her name. I ordered tortilla soup, Did not receive a Tortilla soup. Not sure. Exactly what I got. I didn't anyways. I didn't want to ruin my mom's Mother's Day. The food is very bland my husband was disappointed as well. Oh I usually don't complain but i need to step it up a nut.“

“I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. They were a class act that will rival any high end restuarant. Thanks again, Marjorie, Chef Lena, Corey and Keith. You all made our small event a success“

“Stopped in for lunch to support local business. They were slow so I’m glad I stopped. Got the anchor burger - steak sandwich style. Burger was on point and the Cajun fries were amazing. Got a side of their herb mayo and used that on my fries too.“

“We frequent the Blue Lagoon Bar & Grill. Our service and food are always exceptional! If you have not been in a while you should definitely give it a try! Love the different events they have been having. The Singo Bingo was a lot of fun this evening! Fun to meet new people and just have a good time. We also enjoyed the Casino Night that was held at The Blue Lagoon. Again fun and good times.“
