“Road trip to Dripping Spring from Houston to watch grandson play baseball, to celebrate a win we decided to stop in for barbecue. We ordered brisket(very flavorful and tender), jalapeño cheddar sausage( no complaints from the wife) fries( plenty with a nice touch of season) , mustard potato salad (thumbs up)and for dessert apple pie and banana pudding( preference for me was the banana pudding).Service and Staff were great! Thanks Bill for having us we will definitely be back!“

“Chill atmosphere, service was attentive, food was good and large portion size for the price, the cowboy burger was 1/2 and had some fried onions and jalapeño on top which was a nice addition. They have weekly specials and the gator bites are brined in “

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. It's a low profile place. No cartoon mascots, just traditional dishes with good flavor. I love the fish dishes. Can't go wrong with tilapia, tacos or "seafood al vapor." Salsa is good too. They come with chips, of course. Borracho beans are nice and flavorful without being too salty. Beer is by the bottle with a decent Mexican and domestic selection. Margaritas are available too, with happy hour from noon to 6 pm. Give them a try if you're looking for something other than TexMex.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in front, manual door“

Super cute inside! There is an in between sitting area on the patio that’s covered which is nice and gives a view of the Gulf. One of my favorite places to eat on the island.“

“Went to try out the Blue Lagoon Easter brunch buffet and it did not disappoint. Anything we wanted to eat, they had plus way more. We walked in to a assorted batch baked goods followed by full set up of country breakfast. It included all the breakfast staples plus chicken fried steaks, biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, and chicken and waffles. The next table over was a prime rib carving station that was carved by the Chef himself. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and tender and came with horse radish sauce, au jus, and veggie sides. Next, there was pizza followed by an made to order omelette station. We then come up to an assortment of cajun food (the gumbo was delicious). Towards the end there was a beautiful charcuterie layout. We were pleasantly surprised to see the they had smoked salmon for the bagels. The dessert table was the Cherry on top of the whole buffet, so many different cakes and cookies to choose from. The food was amazing, the staff was so nice and attentive, we hope to attend the next buffet event at the Blue Lagoon.“
