“First time customer at Tony’s BBQ and I wasn’t disappointed. We were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. We ordered the chopped brisket sandwiches; which were filled with of meat and perfectly cooked. Brisket was juicy and had a good smoke taste without the overpowering rub spice. I was lucky to have received a few pieces of burnt ends on my sandwich, which enhanced my enjoyment. I highly recommend Tony’s BBQ at the Laporte location.“

“I met the new owner Justin @ Ryan’s Smokehouse, He was absolutely “Right On It” with incredible Bbq, I had not visited since new ownership took place, But I will tell you all I highly recommend Ryan’s ! The sliced brisket was tender with a perfect smoked flavor, very tender and juicy ! I also ordered 3 loaded baked potato’s with Sliced Brisket on Top @ $12 each, Outstanding & very reasonably priced. “They catered a celebration of life we had today. All the food was fantastic. The ribs were perhaps the best I have had in a long time. 9 out of 10. The only issue was we asked for half white bread and half rolls and only got bread. But that was the only misstep. Everything else was excellent. Everyone was more than pleased. We passed out some business cards. You will get some more business from this. Thanks you for a great experience.“

“I ordered 1 pound of moist cut brisket trimmed today my first time to visit. When I got home, I was very surprised at how small the slices were. The flavor was very good and the brisket, the baked beans are very good but loaded with sugar, very sweet Mixed with little small shavings of brisket which brought out the flavor, but still too much sugar. Also ordered the jalapeño sausage, which was great. But what shocked me the most was when I asked to look at a piece of pecan pie. They wanted five dollars for a very Small piece of pecan pie. That was not much bigger than a hostess Twinkie. I’m not joking Once went into a local store to do business, I asked them about the brisket house and they said it’s good but they were very expensive. That is very true. They are really very expensive. I was totally surprised at how small the slices of brisket were compared to other barbecue places in the vicinity, but overall the flavor was really good, but still it was very overpriced. The local People even said to me before I went there be prepared to pay a lot of money for what you get because they are highly expensive and I found this to be very true. The main reason that they do such a big volume of business is because they live very close to the local refineries and chemical plants and a lot of of companies employees go there to eat they pay for their meals and their supervisors usually pay for their meals because they get reimbursed so price means nothing to the Big companies but to the overall public people such as myself I could afford it but pricewise it still is very expensive. Very nice people very clean inside and out from what I could see you can’t see the kitchen compared to Rudy’s barbecue where you can see everything in league city But I live in Pasadena and by the time I drive to league city and back I would end up spending more money, but at Rudy’s they weigh their barbecue right in front of you at the register so you know how much you’re getting exactly to the pound, plus ounce Overall I guess it was pretty good. I’m stuffed right now and will probably sleep very good tonight. I will go there again, but it was a total joke that they were selling such small pieces of a pecan pie for five bucks a slice, which was equivalent as I mentioned earlier to a hostess Twinkie I’m not joking!“

“I have tried almost everything. and I have been to many barbeque places. nothing Compares to the flavor in this meat from the breakfast barbacoa to the brisket.. you CANNOT GO WRONG HERE .. “OMG! This place is s solid 5! It's small, tucked away off the beaten path, but this is a MUST do for dinner. They close at 7, so go early! You will not be disappointed. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the amount and quality of food you get! The meat was cooked to perfection... probably the best steaks we have had in a long time! Brisket and turkey were fall-apart tender! The sides were delish... total comfort food!“

“We love going to T-Bone Toms! We go during lunch and sit inside and when they have a band we sit outside. That gives you 2 different levels of dining experiences and both are great. There is a large variety of food choices, everyone can get something they love. Plus the wait staff are always welcoming. Brian is pretty much a family member at this point and we love his upbeat personality. He’s always hustling to get everyone taken care of and provides exceptional service. My husband usually gets the steak finger basket with mashed potatoes and gravy. Honestly, I just tried the mashed potatoes and brown gravy 2 days ago and realized that I’ve been missing out for more than 30 years. So, I went back yesterday to make sure I make up for it. I usually get the Cobb salad. It’s huge and has so many different toppings. It’s the best salad in the area, to me. The kids switch out their order every time but you can’t go wrong with the burger, chicken strips, ribs… even Mac and cheese. If you like a Hershey Cream pie…they have a chocolate pie that is amazing too. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.“

They have a wrap around patio with lots of big screen tv’s and a full bar. Grand opening on Monday so go try them out ! Ask for the manager Gina if you have questions. She is fantastic!“
