“I tried Kickin' Kajun for lunch today and it did not disappoint. I had the brisket and ribs, and both were really good.

The ribs were super tender and basically falling off the bone. The brisket was moist with a great smoky flavor exactly what you want from good BBQ.

If you’re in the mood for legit BBQ, this place is definitely worth a stop. I’d go back for sure.“

“First time customer at Tony’s BBQ and I wasn’t disappointed. We were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. We ordered the chopped brisket sandwiches; which were filled with of meat and perfectly cooked. Brisket was juicy and had a good smoke taste without the overpowering rub spice. I was lucky to have received a few pieces of burnt ends on my sandwich, which enhanced my enjoyment. I highly recommend Tony’s BBQ at the Laporte location.“

The only issue was we asked for half white bread and half rolls and only got bread. But that was the only misstep. Everything else was excellent. Everyone was more than pleased. “Arrived a lil before noon on a Friday. Greeted immediately and placed my ordered of two meats with two sides. The turkey was delicious and I really like the jalapeño sausage. I want to go back and try the pork and brisket. Hub had Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Slaw was good and the Mac was super cheesy. Green beans could have been cooked a lil longer. Pinot beans were good. Even liked their bbq sauce. Only rating a four as I didn’t get to try everything yet.“

“OMG! This place is s solid 5! It's small, tucked away off the beaten path, but this is a MUST do for dinner. They close at 7, so go early! You will not be disappointed. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the amount and quality of food you get! The meat was cooked to perfection... probably the best steaks we have had in a long time! Brisket and turkey were fall-apart tender! The sides were delish... total comfort food!“

“Let me start by saying my teenage kid is a VERY picky eater. We went and had a burger after school this past Wednesday. The burger was delicious! So much so that my kid wanted the same thing for dinner on Thursday! And the cheesecake egg rolls....chef's kiss! Food is excellent!“

“This place is a must-try, if visiting Kemah, TX! The food was amazing! We had the Armadillo Eggs as an appetizer....perfect recommendation by our server. I had a steak finger basket...great sampling of their chicken fried steak in strip form (So tender!) Hubby had Tom's Choice Ribeye steak...great flavor and grilled to perfection! The portions are huge! The prices are reasonable. We easily made 2 meals out of our orders. The staff is friendly & the atmosphere is very unique since Kemah Broadwalk is within walking distance!!“

The buttered corn was flavorful and comforting, the mac and cheese was creamy and well seasoned, and the sweet potato was cooked just right. I also took advantage of their Saturday special, which included chicken with two sides and a drink for just $12.99 an excellent value for both quality and portion size.
