“We ordered 3 specialty coffees on a Saturday morning and they are all way better than Starbucks for half the price! I was more impressed with how efficient the staff was. They were rocking with customers in and out and keeping the drive thru flowing. They all had a great attitude and great unity in getting things done. Great job!“

“I was truly impressed with this organization! Not only was the coffee among the best I've had, but the hospitable spirit was unmatched, and the mission of the company is truly inspirational. The coffee and chocolate muffins were decadent, the staff was amazing, the location was perfect, and the amazing mission was encouraging and humbling to experience. I highly recommend every local and tourist to visit this amazing spot!“

“I had wonderful experience at Heritage Coffee today. Greeted with warm heart revealing smiles. Service was excellent! Not only did I enjoy a refreshing tea accompanied by a delicious pastry, I decided dinner was a must! It too was great!
I now plan to visit on their market day and explore more of the beauty nestled down off Halbert Lane.“

“This place is great. The drinks are always good, and the staff are always friendly. I stop by a couple times each week, even if I’m not going to the mall for anything else. For anyone with Celiac disease or a gluten allergy, the drinks and most of the toppings are gluten free. Highly recommended.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free coffee drinks“

“You won't find a better coffee house in Waco. Be sure to follow them on social media and attend some of their special events after-hours (e.g. art galleries, spoken word, etc).“

“Ordering matcha at coffee shops can be hit or miss, but the matcha here is amazing—one of the best I’ve had! For tea lovers, this spot is a must. My friend got an iced chai, and he loved it too. I’ll definitely be back to try the food and coffee. The service was quick, and the ambiance was great.“

“I’m convinced that this is the cutest and tastiest coffee shop in Waco. The staff is very personable and honest. They’ve cultivated an atmosphere that really does make you wish you could be there everyday. I ordered an iced Ombré half sweet and it was chef’s kiss. Parking is a bit tricky to get to. The turn off the feeder looks like an alleyway, but just keep going and it’ll lead you to the parking lot BEHIND the shop.“
“Such a great spot for all occasions - quick drive-through for a caffeine kick, Casual hang out with friends on the comfortable couch, work session at their bar top! This place has it all! The service has always been top-notch with soft Christian music playing and the most comforting decor. You can come in and grab a cup and go or stay to enjoy it! highly recommend!“
“Lots of varieties of tea, clean establishment and friendly staff.“

“This is our favorite boba spot in Waco. We finally got the opportunity to try the food. It was absolutely delicious! The meat had good flavor, egg rolls were tasty and sauces were excellent! The food was very fresh and healthy. So happy to finally have a good Vietnamese food spot here in Waco!“

“The Woodway branch of this Waco coffee vendor is everything you’d want in a local coffee shop. There’s a drive-thru for patrons on the go, but there’s also plenty of room inside. With Slow Rise housed in the same building, you needn’t look far to find food to go with your drink.
Common Grounds’ menu is surprisingly deep and varied. You can get a classic drip coffee or espresso drink here, take on a fun flavor from one of the house specialties, or go with a multi-shot selection from the Sleep is Overrated section if you need an extra pick-me-up. Common Grounds’ calling card is a housemade “Secret Sauce” syrup (spoiler alert: you can buy it by the bottle and ingredients are listed if you’re curious) and the Cowboy Coffee concoctions that feature it. If that isn’t enough, there’s also a rotating seasonal menu. Fortunately, the staff here are patient while you make up your mind, and they’ll promptly prep whatever you order.
I ended up getting an iced Caramel Coffee Crunch: a latte with caramel and Secret Sauce. It was rather sweet (owing to the aforementioned sauce), but on a hot day when I was somewhat frazzled, it was exactly what I needed. Were I a local, I could see making Common Grounds a regular stop. It offers too many options to pass up.“

“Immediate takeaway - the absolute most creative coffee stand. It's in a vintage elevator! Simple, elegant, quirky, one-barista Cafe. Great drink selection for the size and resources available. The barista seemed to be a bit distant, not the warmest, but, may have been me. Drinks were well timed, but the dirty chai I got was not sweet at all, surprisingly. Not the worst, just unexpected for the flavor. Overall, a great little place in a historic building with cool vibes and good brews.“

“Common Grounds in the Baylor SUB has been a gem for coffee enthusiasts like myself. As the smaller of the two Common Grounds locations on campus, it's perfectly situated for convenience, nestled right in the Student Union Building. This spot has been a sanctuary for me, offering a comprehensive menu that mirrors its larger counterpart near Brooks Flats. What makes this location stand out is its unique 'Cowboy Coffee' menu, an exclusive feature boasting drinks made with their famous, sweet, and caffeinated Secret Sauce. From the classic Cowboy Coffee to the innovative Coconut Cowboy, each option is available hot or iced, catering to all preferences. The array of house specialties like Frozen Cappuccino, Mocha Mint Madness, and the exotic Matcha Latte adds a delightful twist to the coffee experience. And let's not forget the staples - the perfectly brewed Drip Coffee and the robust Nitro Cold Brew are just a few of the options that keep me coming back. For students and faculty on the north side of campus, this Common Grounds location is a haven. It saves the trek across campus, offering a quick, delicious coffee fix right where it's needed. Whether you're grabbing a cup to kickstart your morning or seeking a cozy spot to unwind, Common Grounds at the Baylor SUB is the go-to place for top-notch coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.

“Katie ( she has glasses and was on the register dine in ) rung me up this morning she was SO nice and I had a complicated drink she did her best to give it to me in a way where not to over charge me or make it more difficult to make for the baristas. I am also sick and lost my voice she asked me if I wanted a water as well . Just the fact she noticed I could use it was nice and NOTICED. Keep her she’s an asset.“

“All of the staff here are absolutely amazing and friendly. I have been coming to Cafe Cappuccino for years and they take time to learn your name and your order as a regular customer.
Food is always delicious and a wide variety of options to choose from.
You only need one pancake if your order has an option for this or toast. They are gigantic!“

“Nice place, not for everyone. I’ve been here twice. Had good service both times. Good drinks. But the place isn’t for everyone. If you are a young, hip, millennial this is your place. Gen-X it’s okay, limited cocktails due to their serving only their specialty drinks. No food. If you wear a pop knot or a man bun you will fit in perfectly.“

“My wife and I wanted to try something new today, so I searched for a "brunch" restaurant. The Toasted Yolk did not disappoint! We both liked everything that was ordered. I got the biscuits and gravy with the Hashbrown Casserole (junkyard style). The hash browns were a little smaller than I was expecting, so after eating, I ordered the sourdough french toast. We will definitely be returning customers.“
