“We LOVE Hokkaido! We especially enjoy it when we are under the weather. (Like a lot of us are right now). We find it is warm and satisfying. A couple of observations that may be worth taking note of: 1. Online ordering is hit and miss. The hours on the ordering website (chowbus) aren’t accurate and sometimes the add-ons or subtractions aren’t taken into account. 2. I noticed that some staff members park in the front. This wouldn’t concern me so much if it wasn’t for the handicapped patrons. Maybe I am missing something? Anyhoo, all in all, it is a great atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious, and frankly, that’s why we go.“

“We stopped by Club Sandwich at the Silos, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was so friendly and welcoming — they even offered us a sample of the chicken, and wow, it was so flavorful it had us hooked at the first bite!

After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!“

Price-wise, bbq has gotten very pricey, with many places charging $12-15 and higher, for a brisket sandwich, so Rudy's remains on the affordable side. If you have a choice, between the big tourist trap gas station and Rudy's, bypass the beaver and keep going for BBQ that actually tastes good.“
