“10/10 experience only because they fixed a slight mishap. The food overall was very good and came in great timing. The thing I want to note is that at the beginning when we got seated, we waited maybe 20-30 minutes for service before we went and got someone to help us. It was a simple mixup with the tables/waiters, but we were helped with extraordinary hospitality after that. Both managers served us our food and took our order and even comped part of our meal and gave us a free dessert. They deserve 5 stars for sure, because even though it was not a huge deal at all they took it upon them to personally make it a better experience for us. Well done! Thank you:)“

“This place is fantastic! Its like be transported to the 70's where everything is fun and groovy. The staff are so friendly and hard working, the place is immaculate, and the food & drinks are delicious. The one downside is the parking/drive-thru situation. Its a very hard location to get into.“

“Wonderful Home cooked food Calfy style restaurant. When you walk in your like part of the family. very friendly staff. “Tried this sandwich shop for lunch the other day and came away pretty impressed. The sandwich was fresh, packed with flavor, and the bread had a nice texture without being too chewy. Staff were friendly and got my order out quicker than I expected, even though it was kinda busy. The place felt clean and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Prices seemed fair for the portion size too. Not every bite was perfect, but overall it was a really solid meal and I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area again.“

“🥰👍The Mexican Inn Café – As a recent homeowner in the Fairmount Historical district of Fort Worth, Texas and needing a caterer for a Birthday celebration I searched yelp* with way too many choices. After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. Thank you Annette for making my chose an excellent one – You are Amazing.“
“today is December 6, 2023 at 12:15 PM. I came to this location to eat a Philly cheese sandwich and french fries and drink a Coke. It was $15. The Philly cheese sandwich was very small and the meat was dried out and it had a weird taste to it. I don’t know if it was a seasoning or wet and the french fries were kind of yellowish and they put too much pepper on the fries, it was not worth the $15 that I paid but they were very nice. It’s two Hispanic ladies that work there. They serve breakfast from 6 o’clock in the morning until 10 and then they start lunch and they close early.“

“Yummy!!! Great diner like setting with fun interior of many memorabilia items. Iconic Fort Worth historical place. This very mouth watering cinnamon roll is - colossal - 5” high and this is a large serving platter. We shared it with six people and still took half home.“

“A cozy and spacious spot with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The seating area is open and comfortable, making it a great place to work or relax. The overall environment also supports reading and focus, and I noticed students studying, which adds to the productive and peaceful vibe.
I had a croissant and coffee — the croissant was fresh, flaky, and buttery, while the coffee was good and balanced.
The natural light and warm interior create a relaxing experience, especially on a rainy day. A lovely place to unwind, read, or get some work done.“

“After a tough week, Augie's was the perfect feel good destination. It's a family friendly neighborhood bar on the lake where you can drive your boat up to the dock and enjoy a burger and a few drinks and watch the sun set while the kids play corn hole or swing on the swingset.
The food is great. We enjoyed the Augie burger, a half pound burger with jalapeño, pepper jack cheese, onions, mustard, bacon, and tobacco. Also the smashburger with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. All burgers come with your choice of fries, onion rings, or salad (no one gets the salad). Everything is cooked to order, so on busy nights patrons need patience as it can take awhile to get your order. No one seems to mind though.
One unique offering in drinks is a selection of frozen cocktails, jack and coke, pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, and margaritas. You can also swirl any of the drinks. I truly loved the swirl of daiquiri and colada. The jack and coke was also very tasty.
Another plus with Augie's, live music. The Squeezebox Bandits, a local favorite, entertained us all. They're kind of Texas honky tonk meets Cajun blues with a nod to polka (there is an acordian...). They are reason enough to go to Augie's.“

“Well, it was the only coffee shop open yesterday, so I have it a go! It’s my new favorite spot. You CAN NOT beat the smoked brisket breakfast taco. Vanilla Latte amazing as well.“
