“This is a great place if you know your fish and have a higher end expectation for your sushi. I was here with my family and asked for help with specials or recommendations. Our waiter said there weren’t any and seemed really impatient although there were only 2 other tables at that time. We eventually saw the specials on the chalk board and ordered two, which were unique and delicious! One had steak shavings on it! The boards behind the bar were like a foreign language, but I bet they were amazing for those that know. We ended up just going with what we knew, which was fine but not as special as it could’ve been if we had some help.
Overall we felt overwhelmed by the unknown options with no guidance, cutoff and rushed. This is a great place for the sushi/raw fish connoisseur. I hope their business doesn’t suffer from alienating the average sushi loving family.“

Management was great and surprised our kids with some fruit and boba, our server Cyrus was super friendly and on top of it, making sure the kids had everything they needed and made their first sushi boat experience was a hit. “More Accolades for Jay and Sushi Tao! Every time I visit ST, I don’t think it could get any better… but it truly seems to. The BEST lunch special with the BEST quality fish of anywhere! I’ve always been a fan of Toro, one of my favorite cuts of sashimi. But today I was introduced to belly salmon, and it was simply amazing! If you haven’t been, you have to try this place! And did I mention they had a full bar! 😁“

“This is a excellent place for fresh SUSHI, fish like fresh from the shore. They offer 2 different menu, one for Japanese dishes another one for French cuisine. Restaurant is located right inside TCU campus, very easy to find. I will come back for the French food next time, Peter told me that there are not many French restaurants can offer the dishes in his menu. You have to go try it out. I give 2 thumbs up 👍 👍 for this restaurant.“

“This is the type of Japanese restaurant where the food is cooked at the take providing a show sure to entertain young and old alike. Our cook made sure the youngest member of ḥ effects resembling a train that our 5 year old is fascinated by. Flipping his spatula and knife in the air and never allowing them to falled on the table. He stopped flipping the knife when he saw our 5 tear old reach for the knife in the air playing it safe. And then the food was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. The secondary waiter appeared to be connected mentally to us as we never had to ask for anything, she stepped in with what we were wanting to ask for before we could ask for it. This is the first 6 star restaurant I've been to.“

“Fantastic place! Just visiting this part of town. The reviews and high rating are spot on! I loved the service, the selection of ramen, and sushi and decent prices. Loved the Japanese decor and pleasant atmosphere. I got the spicy tonkotsu and Philadelphia roll. I loved watching the sushi chefs making the food, and the view of Fort Worth. My server was very sweet and attentive. The hot sake was brought in a beautiful tokkuri . The mochi came with whipped cream on top. The Philadelphia roll was honestly one of the best I’ve had and has now made it hard for me to go back to Kroger sushi… I hope I can find another place like this close to where i live.“
