“it's a small diner but was very comfortable. our waitress was very helpful and nice, attentive without being a bother breakfast was delicious. my husband had a veggie omelette packed full of yummy things. I had a fried pork chop and eggs. we enjoyed every bite it was well worth it. we found this just by looking online. glad we went there. if we ever come back this way we would go again.“

I've enjoyed the Hot Turkish Coffee with cardamom syrup, the Mexican coffee with cinnamon and the iced horchata coffee. Great local vibe. Limited indoor seating but plentiful outdoor seating so I look forward to enjoying more coffee al fresco now that spring is here. Don't leave without a loaf of their sourdough bread. I ate a whole loaf by myself in a week. So delicious!“

“We found this winery as part of the Harvest Host program - they allowed us to spend the night in our RV in exchange for our business. We liked it so much we went inside three times - once for flights and a generous charcuterie board, once for dinner, and again to purchase bottles to take home. We enjoyed meeting Dewayne and chatting briefly before he got pulled away to the production facility which is attached to the dining area.

First, the grounds are lovely. Even in the rain, the gravel drive and parking lot didn’t get muddy. Ponds, green grass, trees - it’s a nice place to just hang out. They seem to have chosen various tables and chairs and stained glass lamps and lights which make for an interesting esthetic. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the decor. Outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) was just as interesting but we had had enough humidity for one day!

The wines: this place is a sweet wine lover’s dream. I like the whole range of wines from very sweet to very dry, and all six wines I tried were good. For a sweet lover, I recommend the Blackberry Bam-a-lam and the warm caramel. I should have tried more non-sweets but switched to non-alcoholic for dinner and enjoyed the fun of a Shirley temple! All recommended!

The food: they have found a real gem with Chef Maria. We have no complaints. We ordered the chef’s scratch made special - cowboy butter chicken over mashed potatoes with green beans. Amazing. 15/10 would recommend. The special coconut cream cake was just as good. We couldn’t finish our food, having just had the aforementioned generous charcuterie earlier in the afternoon, and we were given reusable plastic to go containers.

In the evening we enjoyed live music before calling it a night. We enjoyed the weekend getaway and would recommend this place for an long afternoon or evening to chill and relax.

“I came into Tailgaters on a Wednesday and had an awesome experience. Mariah was my bartender and she was great! Her attitude and friendliness is something to appreciate. She always had a smile, made sure everyone was taken care and gave some good food recommendations. I definitely recommend stopping in, you won’t be disappointed! “I wanted to tell you about one of your managers at the Live Oak, Texas location. Ms. Arnesia (or Amesia if I spelled it wrong). My family and I live about 20 miles from this location. You don't have many locations where I live, but the food quality to me is worth the drive. However, this time we ordered out of convivence. We ordered food via a food delivery app (DoorDash) and was devastated when we received EMPTY bags at our front door. Over a $100 food order and it was gone. I drove to this location with the bags in hand, and when I asked to speak to the Manger, I met Ms. Arnesia. She explained how I was the 3rd customer that had happened too that day and she had already reported the driver. She helped me to do the same. She was working deliveries and ensured us the orders were included and sealed. She was so sorry it had happened to me and my family. She asked us to not eat any of the remaining items for our safety. She reprocessed the entire order including the drinks and shakes. I'm sure being the third person with that issue that day during her shift, should have allowed for her to at the very least have some aggravation. She never spoke, displayed, or seem to have any negative reaction at all in correcting this situation. When I arrived, I was furious, and I left feeling so care for and appreciated and safe. After meeting Ms. Arnesia, I won't be going anywhere else for my American Burger meals if she is there. She has added to your quality and delicious food with her exceptional customer service. I can't thank her enough for saving our weekend and keeping us in good spirits after all that had happened. People make time to file complaints so easily but fail to praise the people who stand out and go above and beyond. I made time for Ms. Arnesia today. “Stopped into Brass Tap for a quick lunch and ended up pleasantly surprised. The Chicken Caesar Salad was legit, not one of those sad, thrown together afterthoughts, but actually fresh, well balanced, and worth ordering again. Big win there.

Also have to give them credit for having some non alcoholic options on the menu. That is awesome to see and honestly still way too rare. I would love to see them lean into that even more, especially with something on tap. Nothing against anyone enjoying a drink, but sober is cool too, and it is nice when a place makes that feel normal instead of an afterthought.

Service hit the sweet spot. Friendly, attentive, but not hovering over the table every two minutes asking if I am still chewing okay. Just enough presence to make you feel taken care of without feeling like you are being supervised. The bartenders deserve a shoutout too, they know what they are doing and keep things moving without missing a beat.

What really stood out though, I came back about a week later to see if it was just a one off good experience, and nope, same deal. Different waitress, same easygoing service, kitchen still on point, bartenders still crushing it. That kind of consistency is harder to find than it should be.

Overall, solid spot for lunch, solid vibe, and a place that clearly has its act together. If they expand those N/A options, especially on tap, I might start showing up a little more often than I planned… which my wallet may or may not appreciate.“
