“This is how a business should be!! From the moment you drive up and enter into this restaurant you feel like you're with family. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable environment! So much to choose from. This is the best fruit and ice cream and corn place I have ever enjoyed. It will be a regular weekly stop for me and my family!!“
“Crumble takes the cake!! First time I ever had crumble I could barely believe it they are huge!! We have since acquired a crumble slicer for the sole purpose of cutting the cookies into four pieces. We are so grateful for crumble donating cookies to several church events. Most recently our youth pinewood derby race and a baptismal service. Thank you for these delicious and scrumptious crumble cookies“
“Our family stopped for an afternoon treat of churros and beverages. The restaurant was clean and nicely arranged with a lots of seating. I noticed there were 4-5 tables where people were enjoying their orders and quietly using their laptops. There were other tables with couples and families. There's also a tv to watch in the dining room. The frappachino was delicious. The churros we ordered were great with dippings sauce. It was a nice place.“
“When I first saw their mangonada I immediately said, "eso si! Now that's a mangonada!"It's a perfect combination of chamoy to shaved ice ratio, mango chunks layered in. It's delicious and I am definitely coming back.“
“Seriously, the BEST ice cream I've had in a long time!! I got the strawberry cheesecake, and the chunks of cheesecake were so good that the strawberries were so fresh! My kids got the green monster (green vanilla with oreos) and vanilla with sprinkles. We all enjoyed it so much. I bought a few pints to bring home to my husband so he could try it too. We're already talking about what flavors we want on our next visit. Also, props to the girl who was working the whole place by herself, and the line was a bit long she handled it so well!“
“I dont know how I hadnt heard of this place before! My friend n i went Wednesday n OMG it was delicious! I tasted the Columbian n coconut but instead ordered the acai bowl. Although it was good I should have stuck with the ones I tried. Went back on Saturday. This time o had the coconut, mango n Brazilian and I LOVED IT! My daughter had other flavors n my grandson had the Nutella. We will definitely be recommending this place n going back for sure!!!!“
“Have never had an issue until yesterday. My second time at this location. No one greeted upon entering the store. Then I was given wrong cookie, and topping was melted. I quickly told them I didn't order raspberry one but the oatmeal skillet. Then it seemed like the oatmeal was rushed. There was hardly any drizzle or crumbs. Cookie and mousse were delicious. ? Hopefully future experiences and purchases will be better“
“Can you please fix the app, ever since the update with the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS tour cookie has been on display, I haven't been able to use the mystery cookie radar feature, it's my favorite feature that crumbl has and I love being able to quickly find where the best mystery cookies are! Much love crumblParking: Dedicated parking spots for pickups :)“
“We went here on a whim and this place did not disappoint! The gentleman we spoke with was kind and funny. He even wrote microwave time suggestions on our To-go boxes to make sure our sweets were warmed up properly. The atmosphere itself was so artsy and romantic. The deserts we ordered were delicious and cozy. It was a unique flavoring that was like an elevated take on home cooking. Like how do you make a chocolate chip cookie taste so fancy?! (Also love the fact that they were giant cookies haha)Thanks for the great service and quality food! We will be back!“
“This establishment serves frozen custard...and derivatives therefrom, which I appreciate because the menu is uncomplicated and focused.Service is excellent.I ordered a chocolate frozen custard which was excellent as well as my wife's strawberry shortcake custard. My ONLY issue is the sloppy, disorganized and unprofessional look of the kitchen behind the counter which does NOT provide reassurance of a sanitary and professional product.Regardless, the frozen custard is well worth the visit.Vegetarian options: Frozen custard, which contains eggs by nature...Dietary restrictions: Frozen custard itemsParking: Plenty and easyKid-friendliness: Made for your wee 'unsWheelchair accessibility: Roll in like a waffle cone!“
“I LOVED this ice cream shop. The owner is so sweet, the place is cute and immaculate, her employees are just as sweet, and the ice cream flavors are amazing. We got 3 different flavors and loved them all. We are visiting from Houston and I hope to be able to come back here!Kid-friendliness: They have tiny little cups for kids scoops!“
“I liked this place quite a bit! I ordered the double scoop and had Marshmallow Smore and Alamo Mud as my flavors, and for 10$, it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were quite subtle, and I defenitly loved the caramel swirl! The staff were also nice and they make your order fast. They also had free fudge samples, because they have that too. The Turtle flavor was very good! If you love ice cream, I reccomend this place if you are in San Antonio!“
“I'm from an area that doesn't have Shake Shacks but had to try it based on my love of the movie 'Something Borrowed.' So glad I tried the Avocado bacon burger! It's been a must-visit each time I visit San Antonio. Chose this location hoping to view the eclipse. At least the burger/fries were great!“
“Delicious Paletas in fantastic flavors like cheese cake and piña colada. My two teens were delighted with the selection and the prices are extremely reasonable. The workers were friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.“
“I'm from Wisconsin originally and going to Culver's with my parents, friends, or even by myself is something I truly missed. Then I found out there was one just a few miles from where I live!! I am so happy to have a bit of home that brings back the good times of being w my dad in the drive thru. I'm going to have to go back for some fish, but I couldn't resist a butter burger w cheese with some fried cheese curds and a concrete mixer. It was so satisfying. My daughter and I are warming our leftovers as I type this. Can't wait ti go back!!“
“The coffee and wedding cake flavors are my favorite pairing. The staff is always very hospitable and quick. They are always smiling.I appreciate the good work and atmosphere they create for the customers.I often recommend this place to ppl I meet as well as friends and family.“
“I love this place! Lick is the one place I also make sure to go to when I'm in town. I love the seasonal flavors, but the classics are always delicious too. Lick has some of my favorite coffee ice cream. Although it's almost always busy, the line moves very quickly and everyone who works there is really nice!“
“First time here, got a medium James Brownie Funky Jackhammer… sooo good! The warm hot fudge in the middle was such a nice touch. For an after-dinner dessert a small would’ve been fine. I’m so full. Nice friendly service. Military Veteran discount. Thanks y’all so much.“
“Only one star down on the atmosphere because it's pretty warm in here and it isn't even summer yet ? but other than that it's excellent! I got the vegan Mexican vanilla and it was honestly delicious. I asked about it first and the person at the counter (who was very kind and funny) said it's made with oat milk, but they also have one made with pea protein that's even better. I plan to come back for that one!Dietary restrictions: They have a couple of vegan options! I got vegan Mexican vanilla and they have a tropical punch ice“
“We were driving by the CVS parking lot on the corner of Ellison and potranco. We saw this, and my daughter wanted to stop to get one for her birthday since we were celebrating her birthday. She loved it, and we will definitely be back to try more. We didn't take pictures but next time we will.“
“One star for not closing at the time they advertise on Google. It’s 8:14pm and Google says it closes at 9pm. Wife and I drove from downtown all the way over here (we are parked right across from the place now) just to pull over and see the girl rushing to close. SMH.UPDATEIt amazed me that the owner took the time to professionally comment on my review…that detail lacks on a lot of businesses. I applaud the owner’s seriousness. I’ve changed my review to 5 stars. Way to go.“
“Absolutely the best place around 410 and marbach, I drive 10 min just to sit in their cool lobby, good music and vibeService is great they go out of their way to make sure your order is on pointDefinitely would recommend if your in the area or visiting San “
“We held our St. Mary Magdalen's Parish Picnic, and I must say the Paletas and Cart were a hit!! Thank You to Jesus, the owner for being so accommodating and for providing such delicious paletas! We will definitely enjoy them for years to come!“
“I enjoy the very generous portions. Ricotta and blackberry was smooth, creamy, and mild. It didn’t overpower. I was able to mix two flavors together. The environment is exactly what I would expect in Southtown. It’s small and independent.“
“I stopped in this place on an afternoon with my wife. It is a small place but very nice I thought. I had the hot Cheetos with cheese. It was really yummy! The fried Oreo cookies are really delicious and nachos with jalapeños hit the spot. There wasn't any lines so we got our snack's quick. I would recommend this spot for a snack to satisfy your cravings!“
“Such a delicious treat! My daughter and I stopped in for a mangonada. She ended up ordering the mangodilly and it was great! It was prepared right in front of us and had several layers of mango ice, chamoy, and pickles. I had the cut up apple with candy and cucumber. Both were sweet and spicy. The place was very clean and there were high top and low top seating options in a nice cold space for us to enjoy our snacks.“
“Hands down one of the best local food spots in San Antonio. Reasonably priced. The people who run it are great. The food is always high quality and authentic. They have lots of options, good places to wait around, and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend getting a burger or nachos.“
“This place was bomb! visited this spot with my brother and some friends. It's a small spot that offers outdoor seating with Mexican inspired treats and ice creams. From paletas to hot Cheetos and cheese, to corn in a cup, to Raspas. All delicious! I had the chupacabra raspa, which is tangy and spicy, and the hot Tostitos with cheese. My girls all chose ice cream of course, which let me tell you, they have a HUGE ice cream selection. Most items are under $5 so you can really go crazy ordering off the menu. Lots of pretty plants and greenery to sit and enjoy your snacks. Highly recommend, very friendly staff.“
“I love Crumbl cookie. I went there this week to try the Keylime pie and the oatmeal cookie specifically to my surprise. They also had the carrot cake from last week. I was interested in trying, but couldn’t I ended up getting the four pack and got the raspberry jam one as well, the oatmeal cookie one, the cookie itself, is divine. I am not a fan of the whipped cream on top. It kind of falls short I was hoping it would taste more like an oatmeal cream pie and with all of the cookies I feel like they’re two moist they’re just falling apart. I can’t pick it up and eat it so that was kind of annoying, the Keylime pie was amazing by far my favorite. The carrot cake was exactly what it was a carrot cake. It wasn’t anything to write home about. It didn’t taste like a cookie and in my opinion just fell short the raspberry one is really good if you get the raspberry jam with it if you just get the cookie, it’s a bland cookie, I had super high hopes, but I have to say overall a little disappointed there’s not one of them that I was like I have to eat this whole cookie right now where is normally I find at least one that I’m over the moon about.“
“Great frozen treats at reasonable prices. You can go into their tiny little waiting area and Order or I recommend going through the drive-thru. But I don't recommend waiting in the Drive-Thru line while you're on nogalitos. I've seen several people get rear-ended waiting on Nogalitos to pull into the ice cream shop.“
“My wife's and my first time visiting, and we were very impressed! Delicious burgers, buns, drinks, fries, and nondairy chocolate shakes! Try their new Korean burgers and fries!Vegetarian options: Great dairy-free shakes! They also have a mushroom burger.“
“I am super delighted with this place, they always serve us very well and the food is delivered very quickly and everything is always very tasty and very well cooked, the food is cooked at the moment you order it and it is always hot. Super recommended to eat something delicious ?. I have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed me“
“Local Bandera Gem!!! My family and I came here on a Tuesday night around 7:30 pm. We parked in their small parking which is shared with other businesses but there were plenty of spot open. Walking inside the music is loud but plays good hip-hop/pop gems, probably to satisfy its younger clientele. Ice Ice baby serves mainly savory/spicy/sweet Mexican-inspired treats using natural fruit, Lucas, Tajín, chamoy, and other gummy/spicy toppings to enhance any treat for a customers personal preference. Their wall behind the creation station features images and names of their products offered which makes it very helpful for any customers unfamiliar with these types of treats. The two young ladies working were both friendly, efficient, and great multi taskers. They explained options very well, and very considerate when helping my older family make their choices of sweets. We decided to try both sweet and savory treats to share amongst my family so we got to try as much as we could. The corn in a cup was by far my favorite choice as I ordered it spicy with Taki-dust and had lots of other chili pepper spice and good creamy mayo for a delicious taste and amazing texture. Yum!! The Italian ice was very smooth with great fruit flavor that was not an overpowering sweetness. The pineapple treat (piñanada) was also a very fresh/sweet/spicy choice with lots of sliced pineapple, good amounts of Lucas and chamoy drizzled across the top, we added some spicy fruit bands for more chewy texture. The price after tax and tip were not too bad, I think the presentation, serving amounts, and fresh ingredients were all very much worth the value. The service was very good, and the spot was well maintained. My family all loved the food and said they'd want to come back again. Great spot for a sweet/spicy fruit tooth!“
“We’ve been here numerous time and it’s always a great experience.Husband and wife owners are frequently on sight and provide friendly service. The location is always clean with an Old-Mexico feel. There are many tasty treats on the menu. I think I found my new favorite during my last visit; the churros in vanilla ice cream. Served in a cup, they put a bit of ice cream, then a small layer of caramel syrup, then more ice cream and two warm cinnamon coated churros tucked in. Absolutely delicious.I’ll absolutely be back.“
“Cute little shop and the kids couldn’t wait to try the ice cream. Serving sizes are small, which is good for those wanting to watch their figure. Ice cream was fun and innovative, but not something I’ll be craving. Fun little place to get ice cream for the whole family.Vegetarian options: Several vegan options to choose from. Clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: Had labels well marked to protect our wheat and dairy allergies. Staff is extremely conscientious not to cross contaminate the scoop.Kid-friendliness: Was patient with our kids“
“Such a great little place on the south side! Benny and Maria (the owners) take pride in their shop and it is one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat. Maria makes all the soups herself and they are AMAZING! My favorite is the loaded baked potato soup, but the tomato bisque is excellent as well. I always get the grilled cheese and soup and it hits the spot. Maria's brownies are so yummy and I always make sure to buy an extra one for my dad because they are his favorite. My kids also love coming here for both the food and because they love the outdoor seating area. There is a giant connect four game and space for them to play while we enjoy our food. There is plenty of parking out front too! I had a photo of my soup but yelp won't let me upload! Will try to add it later.“
“Absolutely love this place! It's in an amazing location and is truly a hidden gem in Southtown! There's something for the adults and children! The flavors are absolutely amazing ?? You need to be sure to there quick before it's sold out! Check out their Instagram to stay most up to date on limited edition flavors! And if you love a certain one, ask about purchasing pints to take home!I always can't wait til "YETI TRACKS" comes out! I usually order 3 pints to take home!“
“Brought back memories when I used to visit the small town where my grandparents lived in Mexico. The paletas are very delicious and have a large of variety from paletas, nieve, fruit cup with yogurt or Chile y Limon, and other things that injusy can't remember right now. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back.“
“The menu was very overwhelming, but the cashier allowed us to take our time, and even made suggestions. The milk tea ice cream with the condensed milk was amazing. It was a little smokey in there (something was definitely burning. The walls and decorations were nice, just not enough. Will I return or recommend? Yes.“
“The staff here are absolutely amazing. I talked with the owner who is hands on 100%. I could see the joy on his face when he talked about the love put into his menu items. The atmosphere was very tranquil and clean. I recommend ordering the grilled chicken sandwiches. Mine came packed with finely sliced fresh veggies. The freshness can be tasted and didn’t give me the bloated feeling of other unhealthy options. 10 out of 10!“
“We were looking for a sugar free yogurt option for my Dad. I called ahead & the gentleman was very pleasant over the phone. When we stopped in, we were greeted by the owner, Alan. Upon learning the yogurt was for my dad, he graciously insisted on covering the cost of the yogurt. We frequent this establishment with our nieces & nephews fairly often & have always been pleased with the service, delicious yogurt & atmosphere. Thank you, Alan, for your thoughtfulness & generosity.“
“Very long line so prepare to wait but it’s worth the wait! Had the elote in cup which I unfortunately had to return since I don’t like sweet yellow corn, I only like the white corn in elote cups but the gentleman was very kind and didn’t mind me asking to return it. I forgot the name but the mangonada and the one with fresa instead was very delicious. Would come back!“
“My husband and i ordered a funnel cake with ice cream. The woman were super sweet and friendly. I usually go to another place for this same thing because I couldn't find any place that compared but I can honestly say Sebastian will be my new good too place for my favorite snack! Keep up the great work!“
“Snacks on snacks on snacks. Mexican Ice Cream! Hot Cheetos and Cheese! Corn in a cup! This place has all the Mexican snacks. They don't quite the variety that BR has, but they have stuff that's more ethnic than BR too. Tamirindo would never be in the national chains! The ice cream comes in large portions, for a small price. When I went, I couldn't quite identify the smell- not ice cream. Then, I figured it out- corn! I never would've thought to get my corn at an ice cream shop, but they have it! They offer stuff to eat there, with limited seating, or you can take it to go. The ambiance leaves some to be desired. The walls are all white, blank, boring. They need fun artwork. They should have cool stuff to look at while you eat ice cream. There's a bit of outdoor seating, but they could use some shade. The service was swift and friendly. They offered samples. I've learned that the hours don't match what's online.“
“I just wrote a crabby review of Dough Pizzeria (around the corner), but Lick redeemed our evening! Just go there and eat it. You can thank me later. GF and vegan options, not a ton but more than other ice cream joints, incl. a GF ice cream sandwich. Don't read any more, just go!Dietary restrictions: GF and vegan options“
“Well, first of all, I did not eat here. I took my wife and daughters. My wife enjoyed the elote. She loves spicy but never had elote with habanero sauce. I got her to try it, and she liked the flavor. One daughter got a strawberry smoothie and then a strawberry shake. She really liked them both. My other daughter got ice cream cones and devoured them. However, she was not too fond of bubblegum flavored ice cream. I warned her, but she didn't listen. I am sure we will make our way back in the near future.“
“This place is incredible!I literally felt like a kid in a candy store! This place has something for everyone of all ages! They have something sweet and/or sour for everyone! My family and I had a blast! They even have their own to go treats, too!The service could be a little more communicative and friendly. They didn't seem very welcoming...Either way, I will still be back!Looks are deceiving because I was not expecting how big the inside of this place is! Plus, they have a great outdoor picnic area to enjoy a beautiful day!Must try!“
“After much anticipation, I finally visited Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko today, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Stepping into the cafe on a bustling Sunday, the vibrant atmosphere was immediately infectious. The crowd, far from being a deterrent, added to the excitement, hinting at the popularity of the cafe as a weekend treat destination.Adding to the charm was a quaint pop-up shop, offering a pleasant distraction as we awaited our order. The array of offerings we sampled was a testament to the cafe’s innovative and adventurous spirit. The rice hot dogs were a standout, with three intriguing “half and half” varieties: the classic sugar-coated original, a potato version, and one daringly dressed in hot Cheetos. Each bite into these freshly prepared delights was an explosion of flavors, with the mozzarella’s dreamy pull adding a delightful texture contrast that truly elevated the experience. The inclusion of dipping sauces, particularly the Korean honey mustard, was a masterstroke, adding an extra layer of flavor that had us hooked. The culinary journey took an even more exciting turn with the mixed soft serve ice cream, a heavenly blend of ube and matcha. The combination of earthy matcha and sweet ube was an unexpected delight, offering a unique taste experience that left us craving more. However, the true star of the show was the iced cheese matcha latte. This intriguing concoction, with its unspecified yet perfectly smooth cheese topping, struck an exquisite balance between sweetness and the robust flavors of matcha. It’s rare to find a beverage that surprises and delights in equal measure, but this latte managed just that, earning a resounding 10 out of 10 from us.Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko has carved out a niche for itself, blending innovation with traditional flavors to create a menu that’s both familiar and thrilling. The bustling atmosphere, combined with the sheer quality and inventiveness of the food and drinks, makes it clear why this cafe is a beloved destination. For anyone looking to indulge their culinary curiosity, this cafe is a must-visit.“
“My search for great corn in a cup begins here. I got a size 2 cup and looks like it comes with well corn, mayo, parmesan and some sort of chili powder. Might be other stuff in it, but I'm not sure. Taste pretty good to me with only one complaint. I'm just missing the spice I'd get from the corn in the cups I've gotten in houston. I need the sauce that burns my mouth with every bite! Feel like I might be running into chili powders a lot more in San Antonio. Otherwise pretty chill place, the lady at the front seemed nice and helpful. On to the next one!“
“I just go For The Ice cream and I tried Most of them Plus my sister , and Friend work there ,so my sister is the manager she always make sure things are running smoothly in there, just like the ice cream smooth, she's nice, kind and a people person, always smiling, but right now she's in the hospital,so we don't know how things are,?Dietary restrictions: If you're lactose intolerance you should not go there for the ice cream, just stick with the combos ????“
