“This is my neighborhood Chinese food. I feel so lucky it is located so convenient to my house.
The orange chicken is good. The white rice is nice. Consistency is perfect. Egg rolls are good.
The service is good. They are lovely gracious people.
It’s more of a take out place than a dine in, but I think they would let you eat there if you wanted.“

The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! “Top favorites were the mentaiko creamy udon and the yakitori. HM was the grilled salmon kama. They give lots of seafood and toppings for the udon, and the udon was the perfect texture and chewiness. Yakitoris were tender and juicy. Got the negima and momo yakitoris. Earl grey highball was slightly too sweet, but could probably request for less sweet next time.

Overall opinion - have visited this sushi place multiple times, chiefly because it features an all you can eat menu. There are 2 levels to the all you can eat menu, and ample variety to choose from. I have not been disappointed in the food freshness, variety, and flavor. The atmosphere is open, can be very loud, and often the servers have not brought back the menu quickly enough. However, on my last visit the server was cognizant of timing, and we were able to order our next rounds, in a good time frame. Go to sushi spot when the family gets together, as it's fun to be able to taste all kinds of rolls without a total commitment.“

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“
