“I had an amazing experience at Hong Kong Express. The food is genuinely very delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—definitely hits the authentic Chinese/Hong Kong style taste.

The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel warm and comfortable, like a family-run restaurant should. Service was quick, and everything was well-prepared.

“Food: Came with a light appetite, so only ordered the Beef Hand-Drawn Wide Noodle, Pork Belly Henan Style, and Fried Dumpling. While the beef was tender and noodles al dente, the Beef Hand-Drawn Wide Noodle left much to be desired—the dish overall was very light in flavor. The Pork Belly Henan Style and Fried Dumplings, however, were more pleasing to the palate.

Service: No complaints! We were seated immediately upon walking in, and our orders were taken and food arrived promptly. Virtually no wait on a Saturday afternoon.

“The soup buns used to be amazing!!!! That was one of the man reasons I would go, however in the last few months they haven’t been as tasty…like they water down or removed seasoning from the soup base. No deep flavor like it used to have.

Regular food menu is really good. Everything on the menu I’ve had so far including the Dan Dan noodles have great flavor.

“A few days ago, I saw a promotional video of this shop on Instagram that looked very appealing. The shop’s atmosphere and décor were particularly unique. So, I drove there with my family, and it did not disappoint me. I will definitely come back next time.“

“I had never had soup dumplings before but always wanted to try. These definitely lived up to the hype! I also had the orange chicken lunch special - the chicken was crispy and tender and very saucy. The portions are generous and everything came out nice and hot, albeit a bit staggered. I got my lunch plate several minutes before the dumplings, then my mom got her bowl of soup a few minutes after that. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area again!“

Every server works like they're getting paid GOOD 😂 The food is always solid too, they have a great selection, and the dessert bar is really good. I live in Denton and while the 288 location is closer, this on/off to I-35 makes this a much easier location to visit. The staff us also very welcoming.“
