“Stumbled upon this great little coffee (and more) shop looking for a meeting place halfway between Lufkin and Kingwood. What an amazing place. The staff was so friendly, engaging and helpful. Knowledgeable about their products and gave service with a smile! The smoothies were delightful as were the frappes! The coffee was flavorful and smooth. No bitterness or yucky aftertaste. Will definitely be stopping by again anytime I’m in Livingston!”

“Great casual Steakhouse on Highway 59N./ aka i-69 in the growing Lake Livingston area.Been there twice in the last few months, each under different names, thankfully; the Food Remains the Same complimented with friendly service and good food. Ribeye Steaks generously sized 2XL were masterfully grilled & large enough to served my wife & daughter twice more at home.Finally ordered 2 deserts for 4 to share, N.Y. Cheesecake, missed NY by few States; and a Creme Brulee Cheesecake that was acceptable, likely a convenient store bought, defrosted, & reStated. & That's all I have to say about desserts.A notable upgrade, is the downing of card processing cost, previously reassigned as a customer expense & responsibility.Good Food... Great People......Dessert is optional...”

“Lone Star Charlie’s provides exceptional customer service, hands down. ‼️💯 Although I didn't obtain the names, the waitress who uplifted my spirits following a severe car accident on US 59 was truly an angel 😇 in disguise during a difficult time, and the host ensured my mother's comfort due to her mobility issues. “What a welcome change to the FAST FOOD INDUSTRY. You can actually get fresh healthy Vegetables with your food. Like all FFood restaurants there is the fatty fried stuff that is good but not ver healthy. Here you can get stir fried food, broccoli ? yummy green beans ? bell peppers, onions, water chestnuts, cabbage, carrots etc all mixed in with your meat choice. If you want to try healthy, I’d recommend this ffood chain.”

I understand that if you alter an order you may be charged a different price but if you can not be asked a simple question without flying off the handle and being dismissive and RUDE, then WHY ARE YOU WORKING IN THE PUBLIC. The front counter cashiers were basically mute the whole time and didn't speak loud enough to hear, our order ended up still being wrong after basically an argument with MOD. wont go back and I warn people to go to this location, McDonald's shares a parking lot... save yourself the trouble. I've never had a good experience.”

“I am so sad doing this but to ba fair i have to. For over a decade this has been my favorite Mexican venue. It's been a trustworthy value, the perfect balance between cost and quality. Unfortunately over the last 2 months that has changed. Sunday night I ordered tacos Monterey. It is my go to order. Always great street style tacos. What I got Sunday was a plate of diced overly dry meat. Beans I will not even grace by calling them charo beans. Green salsa with no flavor and guacamole that looked like... Well like it was made with mayo and mix... Y'all know what we call that. It sure ain't Mexican food or Texmex.
I'm truly sad if anyone has a good place that is close to what this place was a few years ago please HMU!”

“Im not sure. I may not have been born in the right time period. It really puzzles me sometimes. Im probably wrong, but I think you shouldn't have to ask for 1 pack of salt with your meal. 1 pepper. 1 sweetener if you purchased unsweetened tea or something like that. Some things should be complimentary and you shouldn't have to ask for each one. If you only have 1 type or brand of sauce, then add one with a meal that usually goes with it. Like a ketchup or something. If people want more, then they should have to ask. You know what I got in my breakfast meal. Zip. I had to ask for each thing I wanted. Kind of ruins the mood, you know. I dont know anything. Don't pay attention to me. Just an old lump of coal. Not even going to be a diamond some day. Lol”

“I did a pickup order today, for the first time. The fried catfish was fabulous. it was clean, flavorful and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The sides were delicious and the hush puppies were awesome. I could have made a meal just out of those. Even though this was my first carry out order from them, it definitely won't be my last.”
