Convenient location for if you’re already in the depot district (although if you’re not already in this area and aren’t familiar with it, be careful of the neighborhood it can certainly get real shady real quick). They also have trucks and they will go out to various busy and fun places and I run into them frequently. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the service in my experience has always been excellent. If you’re in Lubbock, Big E’s has worked it’s way into part of the culture of Lubbock now, and is absolutely a must try if you’re in the area!“

“Was visiting Lubbock for a work meeting we arrived late and were looking for a place still open where we could grab dinner. This was a nice little local joint with live music that we really enjoyed. There pizzas are on point and got the spot. Definitely recommended. Our Uber driver also mentioned something about it being the oldest bar in town.

Still the best Hawaiian food out there. My favorite would be the mix bbq plate and love their siopao or steamed bbq pork bun. But really, I’d eat anything in their menu. The food portion is insane! I don’t know how they make a profit still. But just for $17.99 you’ll have food for days or you can share it with the whole family. It’s one of those mom and pop’s restaurants that you would hate to see go because there’s no comparing it to other restaurants. That’s why I made sure to add tip too, it made them feel more rewarded and the service becomes more efficient. The food is savory with or without their special sauce which I like too. You can dine in but most people do take outs. On not so busy days you’ll get in and out in just 5-10mins, I came here Wednesday afternoon. The lady in the front is the very same one since I visited the place 7yrs ago. She may not smile a lot but understand she’s probably exhausted coz she’s the only one taking orders and giving out food. Overall, whether you’re looking to satisfy your taste buds or feed the whole family for cheap, this is a great place to be.

“Stubbs was quite the character! I’m pretty sure I was brought up on puréed brisket with jalapeños and Hot BBQ Sauce ??? when I was older I worked at a Salvage Wrecking Yard just up the road from Stubbs , every Saturday the boss man would send me to pick up food from stubs ! Always 10 lbs of each meat and all the fixings! When we had a Christmas Party at the wrecking yard Stubs and his brother in law Troy Johnson came out and started the magical touch and rub by 3:00 that afternoon the party started whether you were there or not ! I have a chopping block that was given to my dad many years ago it’s in my garage covered up and sometimes I swear I can hear tapping sounds ! With a rhythm I started calling it the chopping block buggy ??? I will never forget Mr Stubafield ???“

Our server Brooke was amazing and very accommodating, my boyfriend ordered multiple meals and she helped up add them on instead of charging him for each meal. She was attentive and very sweet. The food was amazing! My mother enjoyed her steak it was perfectly cooked. Our server even wrote happy birthday in chocolate in the plate. It made my mother smile.
