“These guys have phenomenal food but they are NEVER open. Seriously it’s insane. I’ve tried going sooooo many times and it’s always closed for whatever reason. Almost feels like making phenomenal food is just a hobby and they deliberately avoid the money. Only reason for 4 stars is this bizarre aberration against business and their lack of chips and queso.
Other than that my favorite taco place in Manor by far and top 3 in all of Austin area.“

“The service will melt your heart before the food melts in your mouth. I drove out here from downtown for lunch. I'm not from the area, but this looked like an opportunity that I couldn't miss, and I am glad I didn't. Thank you for sharing your skills and passion for excellent Afghan food with the world.“

“I tried this food truck about 3 months ago and meant to post this review a loooooong time ago. The fact that I still think about this place says volumes.
I tried the Philly cheese steak and it was 10/10 in flavor. Huge portion and even got to try a taco. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town.
Best part is supporting a family who clearly enjoys what they do. So kind, friendly, and passionate - it shows in their food.“

“I was sent for work here in Austin from the Waco area and found this gem. Since I'm on a restrictive diet, I googled and found Hippy Eats! I have never had a falafel before but was not disappointed. Jason was nice and easy to talk to and went above and beyond in every aspect of the experience. He even enhanced my falafel with extras (we'll call it a secret menu item for now). The smell of the food from the ride back to work was delicious and the taste was great as well. Thank you Jason for the Austin falafel experience!“

“I got the shrimp spring roll and bun bo Hue. The bun bo Hue broth was flavorful. I have to admit their bbh beats any bbh places in Houston. However, I didn’t like the shrimp spring roll at all. There was no pork in the spring roll like you would expect. The rolls were mainly vermicelli so you’re paying $6 for 2 rolls of vermicelli and 4 shrimps. The sauce was overly sweet with a weird taste like it’s been refrigerated for a long time.
I would go back to try other dishes, preferably during much cooler temperature even though the weather was high 80s when I went. I hate mosquitoes and flies buzzing around.“

“Just ordered a whole chicken meal and the chicken came fresh, marinated in a lime marinade, tender, juicy and quite generous along with delicious charro beans, a whole grilled onion, fresh corn tortillas, rice and two salsas (green avocado and red). All of it wonderful! Would definitely order again. Also, wanted to comment on the 1-star review below as I was confused by it since this restaurant has no chicken fajitas on its menu. Based on my order, I’d highly recommend this place! Yum!“

“Love Bodhi Viet and what they stand for. Everything on the menu is vegan Vietnamese, mostly faux meats in different formats, not a ton of tofu. Think seitan. Most dishes are served with fresh, raw veggies or steamed veg with no seasoning which is a nice balance with the heavy, salty faux meat. Everything my husband and I have tried has been delicious! We try to try a new item every time. I overheard the cashier tell a regular that R10 is her favorite (braised tofu rolls). $5 vegan banh mi is a steal, and most of the other entrees are $9. You can currently order online and pay there with card or cash.“
“Best place in the area i feel. The beer is craft and awesome. The food..Well I have never been disappointed in a single I have ever had here. Smashburger, wings tacos, specials, atmosphere you name it. I cannot get enough of this place. Wish there were more like it.“
“Such a cool spot! I’m so happy that I was able to stumble across this! Local live music, and friendly atmosphere makes it feel special. The chicken katsu is amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. A hidden gem with great food and an even greater atmosphere!“

“We live in Dripping Springs and used to drive to Round Rock to get our Indian fix because we are a bit picky. We came across the food truck one time and decided to give it a try and HAVENT MADE THE LONG DRIVE SINCE. Id like to think we are regulars, if not once a week then definitely at least three times a month. I recommend to everyone. My 3YO toddler drinks the tikka masala sauce and asks for "the garlic naan" all the time. Big fans!“

“amazing food super fast communication and amazing service all in all a great experience. 10/10“
“My buddy practically lived off Donors in Germany and this place gets them right. The Price point is a bit higher than I would like but the food is excellent with large portions and great flavor. On the down side it can be a bit of a pain to track the truck down and the 2 times I have gone there it seemed like they were out of like.. half their menu. I would still highly recommend giving them a shot though.“

“I was just in the area and I would say this is probably one of the best tacos I’ve had in Austin in a while. I got the Pastore tacos times two, and it was so good. I had to contemplate whether I should get another one, but I stocked myself. Definitely a hidden gem. It’s right across coffee cartel, which I will probably make a review on them as well but overall the experience is really good in total. I think I paid about nine dollars with tip for two tacos 😇“

“I loved the bean and cheese pupusas -- Freshly made and served with red tomato sauce and slaw. It's sold from a converted shipping container/food stand next to the Buddies market. If you didn't recognize the Salvadorian flag colors, you might miss it. We got drinks from the mart, horchata from them, and parked in the chain linked area to eat outside on the covered picnic tables. Yum! Not wheelchair accessible.“

“Incredibly delicious and authentic Indonesian food! My wife and I ate there today, and wow was it good! It took us back to the street food in Jakarta. The ayam bakar (grilled chicken) meal was perfectly cooked and tasted so authentic. Crispy skin, moist chicken, rice and lalapan (lalapan is like a salad - it’s fresh lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, y’all get the idea) The yellow rice (nasi kuning) had that unique coconut fragrance that immediately brought back memories. The homemade sambal (hot sauce) was straight up delicious and if you like spicy, this is for you. It’s pretty spicy, but doesn’t set ya on fire ya know? Highly recommend this spot! Good Indonesian food is hard to find, period. Sate Texas BBQ brings those Indonesian flavors to Texas in a big way! We can’t wait to go back, Selamat Makan!! (Enjoy the food, y’all)!“
“Had a loroco and a bean pupusa and they were amazing. ($3 each)Have had loroco numerous times at other restaurants and it’s always just ‘meh’. But I get why it’s so popular now. This place does it right. The pupusa was crispy and soft and cheesy. This is a food truck in a random busy gas station parking lot but well worth itPS: Cash only“
