“Pinoy Gourmet is truly a hidden gem in Missouri City. Every dish is made fresh to order, so while it may take a little time, the food is absolutely worth the wait. I recommend coming right at 11 a.m. on a Saturday to beat the rush and enjoy everything hot and fresh. Highly recommend the pork sisig, grilled pork belly, and crispy pata. “Orient cafe is usually consistent, good egg rolls, the best wonton soup, and most of the menu is really good. My favorites are chicken with string beans, chicken or shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken.

Although today we had, and I tried the orange beef, orange chicken (don’t mind the quantity, starting eating before I could take the pic😅) and wonton soup.“

“We stopped there for lunch today. My husband had spicy fried catfish and I had stir fried rice and broccoli beef. It was excellent! My husband had never had catfished cooked that way. Medium spicy so not too spicy. Jay was very nice and service was great. Price also good. We will definitely go back there.“

“I don't know what the bad reviews are talking about because this food was incredible! I ordered a small jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains, and they loaded up the plate. The portion size for the price is amazing. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor honestly, the food is so good it doesn't even need the side sauce. 10/10, delicious, and I will definitely be back!“

“The Premium Seafood Pasta and Short Rib Yukgaejang were both so satisfying and flavorful! Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice — definitely a heavier comfort meal, but so worth it when you’re craving Korean noodles and soup. Their banchan is always amazing too. I especially love their kimchi and would honestly buy a jar just to take home. Nice ambiance and plenty of parking!“

“Came in around 12:30pm after a haircut. It was only me and another guest. Ordered the small chao long, which was a pretty decent portion, along with a side of fried doughnut. Food was delicious, and definitely fixed my craving. Not sure if it’s normally dead in there, but hoping that they get more guests. The young girl who took my order and the aunties working the shop were all so nice.“

(if you’re Vietnamese, it’s like BBH without the oily lemongrass broth). Fried egg was interesting. It didn’t really add to the flavors but was a nice treat. Only vegetables was broccoli. Probably better with Chinese broccoli or some other ask greens. Overall, nice bowl of noodle soup for $11.99. Generous portion. Free hot tea and self service utensils.“

“This was our first time eating here. It was a wonderful experience! Owner was so nice, the food was fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. We ordered Kung Pao shrimp, black pepper chicken, vegetable egg roll, chicken egg roll, wonton soup. All were really delicious. Shaken beef, teriyaki chicken, and the vegetables were nice also. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Nice background music and easy to converse at the table. Highly recommend this place for dine-in or takeout. “Stopped in on a cool Friday night evening, craving some Pho. I ended up ordering the Infernal Chicken Curry. I’m so glad I did! The flavor was on point and I found myself trying to scoop the last drop from the bottom of the bowl. Scott was an excellent in taking care of us. “Went out to eat and had gamjatang and spicy jokbal, and both were seriously SO good! Everything was rich, flavorful, and super satisfying.

Our server, Minnie, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better and more enjoyable.

Also, since it’s April, they’re having a gamjatang special, $10.99 so if you’ve never tried it before, this is definitely a great time to give it a shot!✨“
