“Tried for the first time and loved it! Got 4 burritos with chips and salsa as well. The burritos were delicious and HUGE! A little pricey but they're not stingy with the ingredients so worth it. We all got very full and enjoyed it!
Tortillas tasted homemade, which is a huge plus for us, really everything did. Staff was very sweet and friendly.
Only minor complaints and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the dining room being closed and the fact that the parking lot is too cramped for drive thru. Hate going through a drive thru to order this kinda food as my order has alot of customization. They were pretty fast, i just hate holding the line up for my big, complicated order lol. Order was 100% correct though.
Red salsa was very watery but had a good taste. Green salsa was amazing. Again, minor complaints so not deal breakers. Overall, loved it and will be back!“

“I never leave reviews but my wife asks for street tacos at least a couple times a month and they never fail to satisfy us. The tortillas are great, the meat tender and juicy, the vegetables are fresh, what more could I ask for!! Sure it’s outside a family dollar and the truck looks a little rough but that’s how you know it’s ACTUALLY GOOD. Love supporting these guys

“Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“

“Desde que llegué a vivir a Temple, este restaurante ha sido el lugar favorito de mi familia. Pero hoy tuvimos una experiencia absolutamente inaceptable. Conozco al gerente y, al llegar, nos colocaron junto a la puerta del privado. Ahí solo había dos comensales y el gerente, quien parecía estar de fiesta. Literalmente, los gritos y carcajadas no paraban y eran insoportablemente fuertes. Cuando la mesera se acercó, le pedí respetuosamente que cerrara la puerta de cristal para poder comer en paz. La mesera accedió y cerró la puerta, pero el gerente, el causante del ruido, le ordenó que la dejara abierta. En lugar de preguntar o disculparse, gritó que nos moviéramos a otra mesa. Esto es completamente inaceptable y una falta de respeto total. Solicité el cierre de la puerta de manera muy respetuosa, pero durante toda nuestra estancia, los gritos y risas del gerente y sus amigos fueron mucho más fuertes que la música del lugar. Que el gerente no solo genere tanto ruido sino que también maneje la situación de manera tan irrespetuosa es una vergüenza. El grito de "muévanse de mesa" fue un desafío y una muestra de que le molestó nuestra petición. Esto fue lo único que pedimos. El gerente nunca dio la cara y dejó que la mesera, quien seguía sus órdenes, manejara la situación. Es obvio que el ruido no se puede controlar al 100%, pero que el gerente sea el que genere el alboroto es inaceptable. Espero que esto llegue a oídos de los propietarios, la "Familia León". Es crucial que muestren respeto por quienes vamos a comer ahí y queremos hacerlo en paz. El ruido es entendible hasta cierto punto, pero que el gerente sea el responsable de semejante caos es intolerable. Esta situación es una muestra clara de una gestión ineficaz y una falta de respeto hacia los clientes. Espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que situaciones como esta no se repitan.“

“Me my husband and the baby popped in for a quick lunch and oh my God. The food tastes just like home, the prices are super affordable and everything is homemade. I think the guy that served us is the owner such a kind soul. We'll definitely be going back. My favorite part? The char grilled serrano peppers. Thank you for your wonderful service. “Their red salsa is so good that we started buying it from them in 32oz cups to take home, which may be why they’re being stingier with salsa these days. I get the same thing every time now, a fajita burrito with extra salsa, and it’s good every time. I’ve tried burritos from most of the other affordable Mexican food places around and these are my favorite by far. Hope they don’t change the recipe like the one in Belton apparently did!
I pay for food and I want to enjoy it, I don’t care about the atmosphere. They’ve always been extremely friendly to myself and my family though, so I’d say the service is great.“

We originally started going here for their breakfast burritos and found that it wasn't even their specialty, it's the fried chicken! Y'all, it's so good, they sell out... They. Sell. Out. My first time trying the chicken, I was thinking, it's fried chicken, how can you make it better than any of the chain restaurants... WRONG! The batter is super crispy and the breading didn't slough off because it was too greasy, even the white meat was still moist and not overcooked. So often you get a fried breast and it's dry and stringy, not here boss! If you judge the outside, you're missing out on a culinary experience on the inside.“

“I love Mexican Grille 2! The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is pleasant!! My coworkers and I order breakfast tacos almost every day and have enjoyed them every time. The only complaint is that lately for about 2 weeks our tacos are all messed up and extremely sloppy. The queso is always cold. Either way the food is always tasty. We will continue to order in hopes that our orders will start to be correct. Also get a pop they are always crisp and delicious!!!“

“Great hole-in-the-wall Colombian restaurant that also offers baked goods. Compared to other restaurants that offer tacos, I find this place offers a great deal for breakfast tacos (3 for $5.50). The guy even gave me chips and a plate of beans beforehand while I waited. Tacos tasted good. Will definitely come back to try one of their Colombian plates and their baked goods!“
