Their layout is different than other Super Walmarts like in Sachse & Wylie too. This is a Walmart for taking time to shop & not a grab & go.“

Stopped in to try the catfish plate and get some of them Sweet Potato Thangs! Ended up walking out with 5 bags between plates and sweets. First, the catfish, a solid 8.7/10 crispy breading, SEASONED! Second, them chicken wings, while I did not personally have them, the kids were quiet and smackin the whole time and said they were just as good as their Nana’s chicken and that’s the best chicken we’ve ever had so I’ll say it was highly rated as well. Just know them Thangs, are THE THANG for a reason. For someone who does not care for sweet potato pie, that thang was delicious. Try the pickles, too! “Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“

“i grew up in sachse and have been going to this donut shop since i was a kid. this is my boyfriend and i’s FAV donut shop!! the manager/owner that works the drive thru everyday is the sweetest lady ever! we’ve been going so much she remembers our order. we love the drive thru option and the fact that they have egg and cheese sandwiches bc my boyfriend doesn’t eat pork. the donuts and kolaches are always soooooo yummy, and my boyfriend obviously loves their egg sandwiches.“

“You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

These in Dallas have a flaky crust with a buttery underside. The egg custard has rich, milky texture. Solid good. Not elite but better than the average.

Note: it’s a one man operation. So if you walk in, you cannot just pick up egg tarts. You need to order prior to coming (so be ready to speak Cantonese or English). It takes 15 minutes to bake for pick up. Peace.“

“I ordered a 6 month birthday cake and picked it up at Butterfly Cakery today. Let me just say, don't walk but please run to this place if you want a great cake but also if you want great service. So, I was so impressed with the cake when I picked it up and was on my way to put it in my car and as I was laying it down , it toppled due to my clumsiness. I was heartbroken and walked back in and was just about in tears.
