47 Best Breakfast Restaurants near Murphy

“My first time here. I had only heard good things about the food and service but today must have been an off day for them. The food was AMAZING but the customer service was horrible, starting from walking through the front door and continued till we left.“

“We went to the hwy121 location and the whole staff was great and friendly! Food was delicious!“

“I am from New York visiting my family, and from the moment I walked through the doors till the moment I left, MARCO took great care in serving me. He was professional, attentive, and had a warm personality. The atmosphere was clean and enjoyable. the food was delicious and prompt. I would not only go back there, but I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Kudos and many thanks!!!!“

“If I could give Aroma 10 stars, I absolutely would!

This was our first visit, but it definitely will not be our last. I ordered the Zucchinata, and my wife had the Traditional breakfast. Everything was incredibly fresh, delicious, and presented just as beautifully as it looks in the menu photos. The breakfast potatoes on my wife’s plate were cooked to absolute perfection.

We also shared the Very Berry French Toast, and it has to be one of the best French toasts in town—and we are big brunch people! It was beautifully presented, loaded with fresh berries, and every bit as delicious as it looked.

I especially have to recognize our server. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but through our conversation, I learned that he is the owners’ son. As a restaurant owner myself, I was so impressed by his personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality that I almost wanted to recruit him for my own restaurant! Once I found out he was the owners’ son, I understood why he took such pride in taking care of every detail. It was easily some of the best service we have received anywhere in quite some time.

I also love that Aroma is a family-owned and family-oriented restaurant. I feel a special connection to places like this and genuinely enjoy supporting them. I cannot recommend Aroma enough. The food, presentation, atmosphere, and exceptional service were all outstanding. We will absolutely be back and bring more people with us.“

“Food and service is excellent. Good always hot. I highly recommend it.“

“Excellent food, service and beautiful presentation of the food. Large portions. We were very impressed.“

“When I travel I like to find local spots to eat rather than the chain places. I picked out the Ballard Street Cafe because it looked like an older place in an old downtown spot. I was not disappointed as it was exactly what I thought with exposed brick, wood floors, and a 50’s style lunch counter. In addition there were several tables and the required set of local characters sharing breakfast and gossip over coffee. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, and made you feel right at home. To complete the experience, I have to talk about the food. I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with chicken fried steak. It also came with choice of hash browns or grits and b&g, toast, or a pancake. I chose the b&g and grits. First off, the chicken fry was obviously hand breaded and cooked perfectly. They gave me a knife but it was fork tender. The grits were hearty and flavorful. The side of b&g came with TWO homemade biscuits and cream gravy. Everything was awesome! I ended up taking half my steak and the b&g home for a second meal. Getting ALL this with coffee for about $15 with tax almost felt criminal. If you’re ever in Wylie, do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“Tiffanie was very nice, great service. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. We will be coming back.“

“Overall, I always have a better experience at the location down the street near Lalaland. But this location is a little closer to my house so I come here sometimes and the service here just isn’t as good as at the other one which is less than a mile away. This morning my server changed mid meal and the new server didn’t even introduce themselves. It was super quiet and I didn’t get checked on till the new waiter showed up. Food was good per usual, I just wish I got put with the other waitress because I saw her checking on her guests consistently.“

“Also i feel that the Waitress at the Burlington NJ location is kind and welcoming to me & my husband who are older. We appreciate how she talks about new items to try. I will definitely request her area to sit since she is full time waitress“

“The chicken fried steak with gravy was absolutely delicious. I had eggs over easy with hashbrowns and American cheese. The biscuits were also very flavorful and delicious.“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“Great service .. I really enjoyed the experience with the staff and food service“

“🍳 Eggsquisite Cafe Breakfast Worth Talking About! 🥞 What a delicious breakfast experience! Luis had the Spicy Chicken & Waffles, pork sausage patties & bacon jam deviled eggs. While I had the Avocado Benedict, and the Pumpkin Spice Pancakes—and there was something to love about every dish! The Spicy Chicken & Waffles brought the perfect combination of sweet, savory, with a little bit of a spicy kick. The sausage patties were flavorful and cooked just right, while the bacon jam deviled eggs were such a fun and delicious twist on a classic deviled egg. OMG! The Avocado Benedict (came with bacon crumbles that I had on the side, since I eat vegetarian) was creamy, satisfying, and 100% beautifully put together. While the Pumpkin Spice Pancakes were a perfectly seasonal treat—fluffy, comforting, and full of that cozy fall flavor! 🎃🥞 They even have a machine that makes fresh pressed orange juice! I thought that was very cool & refreshing! One thing that really stood out during our visit was how spotlessly clean the restaurant bathroom was! 🧼✨ Everything was fresh, tidy, and well-maintained, with clean sinks, mirrors, floors, and facilities. Overall, this was a fun, flavorful, and satisfying breakfast with plenty of variety. Great food, great portions, and a menu with something for both of us. Especially, since Luis is the meat eater in the family & I’m the vegetarian. I am excited to definitely come back to try more! ❤️☕️“

“Large selection of items, very busy but in a good way, very sweet employees, egg white veggie omelette, toast with avocado, and oatmeal all were delicious 😋, and I will spread the good words!“

“I actually had donuts and kolache’s delivered to us through DoorDash, and the donuts and kolaches were so fresh and tasted amazing. This was the best donut place that I think I’ve ever tried, and even through DoorDash, the quality of food was incredible. So good, that we even ate them the next day and they were just as fresh as if they were right out of the oven.“

“Just order the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes ir any other pancakes on the menu. YOU WILL UNDERSTAND! So Good!!!“

“I got their breakfast plate with a waffle, eggs, and bacon. The eggs were a bit soggy, but still tasted fine. The bacon was delicious! And the waffle was absolutely amazing! It was light, crisp, and fluffy and paired perfectly with the syrup they provided!“

“I can not believe anyone would say anything negative about this lovely experience. Beautiful place beautiful food and wonderful enjoyable meal. We look forward to the next time.“

“Loved this place! When I walked in it reminded me of the smell of my grandma’s house as a kid. The server was great & the other staff as well. If you’re looking for a good, down home cooked meal, this is your place! If you’re looking for a brand new, boujee building, fancy place then it’s not. It’s very clean also. We will be back.“

“Great food, service, portions! You won't be displeased!!“

“A perfect location for breakfast at the edge of the Fremont Experience. Clean restaurant with a modern diner vibe. Great service and food!“

“Great friendly atmosphere. Club sandwich was amazing.“

“Wow!! Tried a new place this morning. It did not disappoint. Great service, Jasmine was so sweet, awesome food, lots of healthy options. 5 stars all the way. Will be back often!!“

“Love this restaurant“

“In this economy, this is the place to go. By far the best priced meals you can find. Not a huge selection of stuff but that’s no big deal. Delicious food and great portions. Little to no wait time to get a table.

Servers may be all over the place but get off your high horse and call one over.“

“عاشت ايدكم الفطور اليوم جان كللللللش طيب ومميز، السلطات القوزي الكباب والكص والحلويات والعصاير بصراحة بدون مجاملة اطبب بوفيه افطار بين المطاعم العربية بالمنطقة واكو مكان للصلاة كلش حبيت الفكرة“

“My favorite breakfast place. Spectacular omelettes and potatoes. Great friendly service and very affordable. I wish I was in the area more often. Keep up the good work.“

“Not only was the food hot, fresh, and fairly priced, but the staff was attentive and friendly — and even the patrons were welcoming. As a veteran, someone unexpectedly paid for my meal. I was truly surprised and grateful. That simple act of kindness meant more than they probably realize. I’ll be paying it forward today. Thank you.“

“Good food at reasonable prices“

“Love the Rowlett location!! Food and pricing is awesome. Staff is always friendly“

“Best all day breakfast and coffee ever“

“Delicious food, great service!“

“Lakewood Cafe is a great place to eat breakfast at. I was seated right away. Everyone was so kind. Muck gave excellent service. He was sure to check to see if I needed anything. I ordered the French toast combo and it was delicious.“

“We have recently started coming here and now we can't stop. We love the Mexican coffee, their version of Biscuits and gravy is amazing and everything else we've tried has been just as good. Can't recommend this place enough.“

“It’s the day shift employees that make this the best! They are the friendliest, makes sure everything is perfect - even at their busiest. Great crew, both servers and cooks/chefs - except for the one server that can’t stay in the restaurant and get completed food order delivered to her table, didn’t check on us one time, never said a word except a few mumbles, we knew menu better than she did - need I say more?“

“good service nice eats it was good“

“awesome food great service“

“My Hog chapter visits this restaurant in Richardson at least once a year as one of our midnight rides! They are always wonderful to us! The food is hot and fresh. The staff is so nice and we just love them! They have a fantastic menu with all of my favorites on it. We brought a party of about 26 people tonight (8.30.2026) and they did a fantastic job of taking care of us. If I could give them 10 ⭐️ s I would!“

“I love waffle house. Open 24 hours 7 days a week, reasonable price, good food what more could you want. One of my favorite place to eat. The only complaint is they don't serve Dr pepper. They have Mr pibb and it is not the same.“

“I order a pick up when i was working and had my boyfriend go pick it up and bring it to me at work, he pick it up and brought it to me, My order was wrong wanted bacon but ended up with sausage i called and the manager made my day, she offered to deliver my bacon to me, or refund . I chose it to be delivered, and she was here within minutes, made my day. and love how she handles it especially on such a busy Sunday,“

“I love the All Star Special with bacon and their waffles be good, the coffee is good too“

“I've been to this location once about a month or so ago after a long night of work. My to go order was made quickly, it was delicious and the staff was friendly. I'm sad to see now they are a Door Dash delivery only location. I don't use delivery services.“
