We play a lot of travel baseball & it’s important to be able to get in & out & have our sandwiches made right. These guys worked hard, quickly, efficiently & with positive attitudes that were contagious in the best of ways. Way to go store owner/operator/managers & staff!“

“My daughter did a online order and picked it up at 7:30 on on 11/28. I don't know who made my sandwich but it was absolutely delicious. I pretty much always order the same thing with the same toppings but this was just made perfectly. Just the right amount of Oil and Vinegar dressing. Best Spicy Italian I've ever had at Subway!“

“The pho was incredible. The broth was made to perfection. I loved the spring rolls made with shrimp and the peanut sauce. The ginger, lemon and raw honey drink was exceptionally good. Everything is exceptionally clean and beautiful. I will be back and bring my friends ❤️“

“I’ve been coming to The Great Outdoors Sub Shop in Richardson for over 40 years, ever since my college days, and I was so glad to see that the tradition of excellence is still alive and well. The food remains just as impeccable as I remember, and the staff continues to deliver the kind of customer service that made me fall in love with this place decades ago.

On my most recent visit, I was greeted by Auvianna W., who was warm, welcoming, and ready to serve. She reminded me of a manager they had years ago, Rick, who always made sure long nights of studying or quick breaks between classes were made better with great service and my favorite sandwich (always with extra mayo, light thousand, and a strip of mustard!).

I also want to recognize Tina and Liam, who were attentive and enthusiastic as they shared the new menu items with me. Their excitement was contagious and made the visit even more enjoyable.

It’s rare to see a restaurant carry on such a strong legacy for decades, but The Great Outdoors in Richardson truly has. For me, it’s more than just a sub shop — it’s a place filled with memories, tradition, and consistently great food.“
