“I've been a regular customer and enjoy the friendly service and good prices. I always buy the all meat. It's not very grease and has a very good taste. Tamales are flavorful and good. The menudo is also very good. This is my favorite go to for Barbacoa, tamales, and Menudo. Fast and friendly.“

“We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered mini tacos. The seasoning was good however the meat was not chopped enough for mini tacos. The food is good over all. The menu is varied and includes many tradition Mexican plates.“

“You have to check out this hole in the wall! It’s not just seafood, although the seafood is DELICIOUS! Not greasy, lots of flavor. There’s so many other non seafood options as well. Breakfast is served all day! Will definitely be coming back as there are soooo many more items on the menu we want to try!“

“I stopped by Big A’s Tacos and tried the carne guisada — absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell it’s made with care and authentic flavors. The portion was generous, and the overall experience left me wanting to come back and try more from the menu. If you're a fan of hearty, home-style Mexican food, Big A’s is definitely worth a visit. 10/10 Highly recommend!“

“I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back. Great place!“

“Tortillas were fluffy and salsa had a good flavor and kick. The seating isn't crowded trying to fit max amount of people. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly including everyone there that didn't serve us. Keeping this place as a favorite. Food was above average. Filled us up and was delicious. Pleasantly surprised all around.“

“Food was delicious. Service was slow. Servers are not attentive to customers. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos and it took 20 minutes to get them. When they came they were on flour tortillas but I ordered them on corn. I didn’t get silverware or napkins. I’d go back for round two and give them a second chance to prove they are better than the service I received.“
