“The BBQ at LOCAL CRAFT in Newark TX takes BBQ to the next Level! Do not pass up this Gem in North Central Texas. These folks know what they are doing. They even serve Pork Belly smoked to perfection and cut like brisket. The beef brisket is the best I have tasted in years, moist and delicious with smoke permeated all through the meat. They use hard Texas Oak unlike alot of other BBQ joints that use lighter woods. The Baked Potato Salad is to die for!!! I cannot wait to eat through the rest of the Menu!“

Ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with potato salad as the side, and requested a fully loaded baked potato. Let me tell you- my drive home was torture! I couldn’t wait to dig in! I shared the meals with my daughter and we still had left overs! The attendant had great customer service and made my experience very pleasant! Now the food- very flavorful and tasty! Portions are huge and can feed more than one- even the chopped brisket sandwich! Definitely worth my drive!“
