“Great food, service and dessert“

“We had lunch with friends here today and I was blown away!!! Everything was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing and the food…..what can I say, it was AMAZING! The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! The owner can and visited our table as well as everyone else’s!!! This place is a must!!!“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. “We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!“

“What a gorgeous afternoon we had at Parsanos. The atmosphere is beautiful and the decor is amazing. Our waiter was exceptional and the food was delicious. “This was our first visit to this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. We started off with Calamari, and it was great. Not chewy, but lightly breaded and the marinara was great. My wife had the Moscato and loved it. The house salad was really good and the ranch dressing was in house and delicious. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo, and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. Both plates were absolutely amazing. They even brought us a sample of the lasagna. The ricotta was just perfect, the right amount of cheese and sauce, with that extra flame on top of cheese to give it that amazing look and it was heaven. The interior was great and cozy, it was quiet with light music, the decor was a nice touch as well. My wife decided that's our new date night location and anniversary location. If you haven't tried it, please stop by and give it a try. You'll leave full and satisfied.“

“I actually hate to share this review because this for sure is a hidden gem. I would give it 10 stars out of 5. Linda our server was fantastic. The food is truly authentic with everything being made fresh in the restaurant. If you’ve never tried it you need to give it a try. This will become a new regular spot for me.“

“Had an incredible evening at Battalion tonight celebrating my wife's birthday!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity for a date night. For starters we had the spinach dumplings and the the meatballs, both were delicious but my favorite were the dumplings by far. For our mains we had the lamb chops and the tenderloin, both incredible. For sides we shared the green beans, the cavatappi, and the manacotti pasta. We were so delighted with all of it and almost too full for dessert....but still sampled the smores panna cotta and the tiramisu. Our server was over the top friendly and helpful, assisted with drink selections and never left us waiting or wanting for anything. (I am so sorry I forgot his name, but he even took a picture of us to celebrate the evening!) Thank you for a wonderful evening and a fantastic dinner!! We'll be back again for sure!!“

“This place is absolutely amazing. We went here for our cousins 15th birthday. He came in from out of town and requested the best Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and after weeks of research we found this place. From the moment we placed our first call until we actually went to the establishment and left, everything was beyond perfect. “Large party of approximately 40 people, for a baby shower. Unfortunately we were only permitted to order from the appetizer list, light dishes, and dessert list. I wanted the salmon that was on the main entree list, so I had artichoke dip instead.
Each tablet had their own waiter but every guest was given separate checks, even children. Ben was supposed to combine tickets for an adult and a child. It wasn't noticed until after the adult and child left. I called the adult because they needed to verify what dishes she paid for. While verifing the last 4 digits of the cc, Ben apologized to me for not combining the tickets. I paid because, even though it was the waiters fault, I knew it was a very hectic situation. Overall everything was great, except not being able to order from the main menu.“

“Just picked up a Supreme pizza w/a large salad. Our pizza was absolutely delicious! “We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. We had our drinks and food order taken quickly and never had to ask for a refill. We also had a special request to have my mother’s fettuccine pasta cut into smaller bites (she has a disability) and not only was that accommodated but the chef took it a step further and even made sure to cut her chicken into bite sizes as well🖤 my mother appreciated that kind gesture, the manager (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) was also very kind and welcoming. We were having a pretty good day already, but the experience we had here today magnified it! We want to sincerely thank the staff for the phenomenal service today! Can’t wait to come back!“

“We frequently go to the SILO on 1604 for birthdays and anniversaries. Over recent years the quality of service and food has been remarkably excellent. Arriving early for our Sunday reservation, we spent time at the NONNA bar. Our bartender was Gabrielle. What a wonderful young lady. She made me the best “personalized” vodka martini I’ve had in years. Kudos to Gabrielle!“

“Fantastic food, great espresso. They use real garlic. Owned by a real Italian! Came in today to get some espresso, and left feeling like a friend.“

“Went there for dinner with our kids. Ordered a large pizza, wings (was out of the flavor we wanted) 2 Caesar salads, 2 soft drinks and 4 waters. We see 6 soft drinks on the screen and say we only wanted 2. Lady says they charge for water. 3$ for tap water? Ok fine, whatever.

Some guy brings out the 2 Caesar salads. Says something about not being able to find the dressing. Another lady comes out and says they are out of Caesar dressing and offer us other options. Pizza comes out and we ask for a side of ranch dressing. Lady looks us dead in the eyes and says they are $.99.

So after charging us $12 for tap water, messing up the Caesar salads, they now want another $1 for a tiny side of ranch dressing?

Needless to say, we will never step foot back in this place.

Edit: was contacted by the company and they made it right. Which to me, says a lot. Not many companies are willing to do that lately. Changing to 4 stars.

For what it’s worth, the food was actually pretty good. It was just the over all experience from the staff that ruined it.“
