“We had lunch with friends here today and I was blown away!!! Everything was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing and the food…..what can I say, it was AMAZING! The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! The owner can and visited our table as well as everyone else’s!!! This place is a must!!!“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. “We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!“

“Cory’s hospitality strongly led this amazing experience at Fife & Farro! He was knowledgeable about the menu and always kept an eye out for a water refill and when it was time for a new cocktail. He even recommended an amazing off-menu beverage made with Italian spirits while radiating Texas hospitality. Especially when a restaurant choose to pay attention to details down to table cloth, then the restaurant shall be commensurate with praise 👏 No, you won't find Swarovski here. Come on, it's a mom and pop store. Yes, I do see a extension core randomly hanging out. Come on, it's a mom and pop store. What I do find is the server cared and earned his tips, the restaurant manger/owner cared and showed in her ways (and the decor helps too). The chef cares and shown in food. The portion is generous, the shrimps are huge, and everything is delicious. I would like to stop talking about the shop because I do not want to wait for a while next time I come over. Yes, I choose not to upload more pictures, because you need to come and check out this place yourselves.“

“Had an incredible evening at Battalion tonight celebrating my wife's birthday!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity for a date night. For starters we had the spinach dumplings and the the meatballs, both were delicious but my favorite were the dumplings by far. For our mains we had the lamb chops and the tenderloin, both incredible. For sides we shared the green beans, the cavatappi, and the manacotti pasta. We were so delighted with all of it and almost too full for dessert....but still sampled the smores panna cotta and the tiramisu. Our server was over the top friendly and helpful, assisted with drink selections and never left us waiting or wanting for anything. (I am so sorry I forgot his name, but he even took a picture of us to celebrate the evening!) Thank you for a wonderful evening and a fantastic dinner!! We'll be back again for sure!!“

“Tiffany was our waiter and she made our experience so wonderful. She has great customer service skills and made us feel that we were at home. She gave us good tips on where to travel and what to see since we are visiting here. We came for our nephews Air Force graduation and we loved how sweet and important she made him feel. Definitely coming back if we ever come visit San Antonio again.“

He came in from out of town and requested the best Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and after weeks of research we found this place. “Just picked up a Supreme pizza w/a large salad. Our pizza was absolutely delicious! It came with bread, dipping sauce,extra dressing and all the extras I could have taken it to the park to enjoy if it wasn’t so cold outside. 1st time ordering out has been such a positive experience I’ll definitely consider it again when I can’t get out. “Almost everything was perfect, the exception being the cup of coffee I ordered after dinner was poured and left unattended for a time, so was no more than luke warm by the time it got to me. I have no doubt that the server would have gotten me fresh, hot coffee had I requested it, but I was in a hurry, so didn't do so. The food was incredible, especially the pizza and wings, but Ariana and paiges service really made the visit stand out. “Me and my husband had lunch today and our server ALEXANDER G was our server and he had exceptional service! He was the best server we have had anywhere. He was on top of our drink refills, food, breadsticks and soups. And he often asked if there was anything we needed or how everything was going. He had a great attitude and you could tell he enjoys what he does. If Olive Garden needed that one person to train others, it would be Alex! We definitely let him know he was the best service we ever had. If more servers were like him then they would make more money and the restaurants would make more business. “Initially I went to grimaldis and waited for 20 minutes with no service. Mind you I only have 45 minutes for lunch. I walked over, was greeted immediately, given a table, ordered, had hot fresh baked bread come out to my table, my order followed about 5 minutes after! It’s delicious!the customer service here is beyond any of the other businesses at La Cantera!“
