“Visited Dave Zimkowski’s Fork & Bowl Bistro for a meal today, and loved every bit(e) of it! Make the extra effort to find and eat at this place and you will not be disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! I had the Turkey Bacon Cheddar sandwich on sourdough and my wife had the Cauliflower Rice Bowl with chicken. We also started off with the humus and an extra savory and sweet tomato soup — amazing! Needless to say, we happily rolled out of there with big smiles on our faces! We will absolutely be back and recommend it to all our friends. Highly recommend!!!“

“Upon arrival, I was surprised to see that Starbucks had been replaced. It’s definitely been some time since I’ve been in the area I thought.Early Bird wasn’t bad. The staff were quite friendly, informative, and attentive at that. Before I received my latte I was asked to try it - make sure the coffee was not too strong which the latte overall was perfect. We did try their sample for their horchata milk that is made in-house. Quite interesting taste. The aesthetic of the place was nice. Nice in that grabbing a coffee and or stopping by for a very short while will do. Couldn’t see myself studying nor working here as there is too much going on.Will try and be back if I am in the area again.“

“My wife and I are always looking to go off the beaten path and support local businesses. We came across Gino’s and decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted like we were “regulars”. I tried the smoke stack and my family had Philly steak sandwiches. The bread was fresh and the portions were huge. I highly recommend Gino’s if you’re looking for good food and nice people.“

“Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! Definitely will be a repeat customer!??✊?“

“FINALLY got our you-know-what together to get a brunchy hour reservation here today… the food and service were wonderful! Chris was our server and Amanda the barista were fantastic. Best casual brunch in San Antonio - hands down. And the mission behind this place - who couldn’t get behind people recovering from addiction and finding purpose in this life…. You can taste the love in the food and see and feel the pride that all the employees (?) take with their work. Can’t recommend enough.“

“The interior of the coffee shop is lovely. There are a lot of different pottery items on display for sale that are hand made by one of the baristas! It's a very nice touch that adds some personality to this coffee shop. I tried an iced Honey Yuzu tea and it was great; very refreshing for a hot day. There was plenty of seating available when I went, and there are even bar style seats as well. Highly recommend trying some iced tea or the pistachio latte!“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat. It is hard to find healthy, quality vegan food. Everything on the menu is so delicious and made from scratch. You can’t beat the pricing anywhere for the quality you get. Even my non vegan friends love the food. They are also always so friendly and hospitable too. Highly recommend this place!“

“Place is great but I would recommend the chefs checking the shrimp before putting it out I didn’t realize I was eating in cooked shrimp that wasn’t done. I did let the manager know. I did get sick unfortunately. But I will still be back place is a great vibe.“

We paired our meal with a Mur de Barley and On-Sight. Five out of Five. Service was great! Ambiance was casual, friendly, edgy, and very chill. Will definitely be back.“

“Yo, listen up! Tacos and Salsa in San Antonio straight-up slayin' the taco game in Bexar County! These tacos ain't playin' around, fam. Each bite's like a flavor explosion, mixin' up legit Mexican spices with the freshest ingredients. Whether you rollin' with classic carne asada or some next-level fish tacos, they got you covered, no cap. And don't even get me started on the salsa—it's fire, fam, straight-up fuego! The vibe in there? Litty, bruh! It's like a party in your mouth, and everyone's invited. When it comes to the best tacos in Bexar County, Tacos and Salsa holds it down, no doubt!“

“Oh my gosh! This place is AWESOME!! My husband and I found ourselves driving through San An, and we stumbled upon this lil coffee shop. - MAGIC! We got a flat white, a cold brew, and an ice latte (dealers choice - just for funsies). THEY WERE ALL PHENOMENAL!! The flat white might honestly be the best I’ve ever had, and the other drinks we superb! And we’re big coffee nerds. Like. BIG coffee nerds. You need to see our coffee credentials? The hubs and I both worked (and met at) a specialty coffee shop. Have since traveled the world drinking coffee, visiting coffee farms, and just simply sippin on good brews. All that to say, this coffee spot is the ish! I enjoyed the Brazilian cheese bread as well. I was so excited to find out they sell Guaraná soda which I can’t find anywhere! I can’t wait to visit again!“

“It’s a cute place but today’s dining experience was not ideal. One meal came out a long time after the other. Be aware that Nutella Waffle is heavily slathered with Nutella as well as chocolate syrup (making it unsuitable for breakfast except to those with a significant sweet tooth). Diced ham inside crepe was room temperature and bothered stomach hours later.“

“We had a large group and were well taken care of. They have a great little patio and a cute interior space. Our group got everything from intricate cocktails to canned beer. There was a small menu but we were there for a nightcap. They close relatively early so plan to make it an early spot.“

“When I tell you this was by far the best experience ever and I'm not even exaggerating!! Everything from the atmosphere, menu, drinks, food etc!! I'm a sucker for a good Asada Fry and when I tell you I could of bathe in the dish, I'm not lying. Each dish we had was better than the next. Mercury enjoyed her milk shake, mom and dad had a few ships too. The Dragon Fruit Lemonade was beyond delicious! Fresh and the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. The honee butter chick'n sandwich was so good, however I'd probably would of preferred a flaky biscuit but all in all I give it an 8.5/10!! When in the area I totally recommend whether a herbivore or omni 1000/10 chefs kiss!!“

“Olla Express is a hidden utopia in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. This is my favorite place in all of Texas. The atmosphere is beautiful and mellow, warm and welcoming. The drinks are a wonderful take on Mexican classics. My favorite is the Olla Socorro. It is a blend of strong coffee, spices, and rich Mexican chocolate. It is decadent and warms your soul. The owner Andrea, has created a place that makes you want to come back everyday. Her and her staff are great and make you feel genuinely welcomed. She also has a wonderful playlist going in the background. Give Olla Express a chance. You will not regret it.“

“One of the best and unique local bakeries in town. Located in a historic area near Fort Sam, the place itself is very cozy and inviting. The pastries are outstanding! All unique and so tasty. Very traditional but with modern twists. The coffee is perfect, as well. The cappuccino was excellent, too. The staff member when we visited was so helpful and friendly. Do yourself a solid and check them out. Support local and Enjoy.“

“This place is wonderful with excellent service and delicious coffee and empanadas. The menu has a good variety for people who enjoy the taste of just coffee to the people who want a drink to be acquainted with coffee. You can also ask for percent sweetness on drinks which is a cool way to have your flavor but not have it overpower your coffee. Empanadas came out hot and were wonderful! Highly recommend!“

“It’s very refreshing. When you go into a restaurant and you’re waitress like we had to attended us here and her name was Carina, even during lunch rush hour, she made sure we were ok and didn’t need anything. And was very kind and very attentive.“
“I came here for Monday brunch with my mom and puppy, Bogart. I tried this place out for the first time. I had the Tiramisu French Toast. My mom had the Senior Spaghetti. We shared an AENGUS Irish Red. The food was great and the service was nice as well. Our waitress was the only server working at the time, and she was wonderful. She even brought some ice out when I asked so I could give my puppy water. I like the vibes here, and the wall murals are beautiful. This is a nice dog friendly restaurant in San Antonio. Bring your pooch and give it a try!“

I highly recommend that you take time to visit Con Huevos if you visit San Antonio. Please note that they are closed on Monday.“

“Il Forno ROCKS. Unique pizzas with fresh, interesting ingredients. The menu rotates often. They cure their own meats in house. The wine menu isn't too too extensive but all the wines are thoughtfully chosen and the staff is always knowledgeable on the offerings and what pairs well with what- they also always let us sample before choosing what glass/bottle we'll get that day. We have never once been disappointed in the food we've ordered- like I said, Il Forno rocks. The space is also remarkable- very impressive home grown DIY herb and vegetable garden exterior, simple stone slab floors and concrete wall interior. It can be hard to come by restaurants that genuinely put heart into what they do, and Il Forno is definitely a gem in that regard. Il Forno... rocks.“

“Cool, funky atmosphere with a laid-back outdoor seating area. When we went there was a live music jam featuring the Harmonica Organization Of Texas where various harmonica players took turns sitting in while the band played several blues standards. My wife and I had the delicious wedge salad and tasty pork rinds for an appetizer.Parking: Parking across the street“
“Love their happy hour! I always stop by with my parents for a treat. Staff is always helpful and patient in helping my parents find a tea to drink. I would not recommend their coffee, however. 2 out of 2 times I have tried their coffee it has tasted bitter. It's either burned or old. It is called HTeaO for a reason! Stick to their tea and you will be happy!“
“This is a great neighborhood bar. Service is great and the beer selection is interesting. Definitely will return. I was in San Antonio visiting and was reminded that a Navy Seabee reunion was held there only a few days earlier. Parking is great, park under the freeway.“

“We had the biscuits and gravy, brisket brisket, crumble cake, a dirty chai tea, and another coffee. Wow!!! Their biscuits are jumbo biscuits. They are amazing! The crumble cake is something I will have to search them down for periodically (I only ordered because of suggestion and I’m so very thankful!) I love the owners energy! “Awesome coffee stop! I ordered a Charlie Brown latte and my husband ordered a regular coffee. Both were perfect. You can tell they used freshly roasted beans. “This place has the coolest vibes. The espresso in the lattes is really really light, I almost can’t taste it. And that goes for plain lattes or their signature ones. But their cold brew is good and the atmosphere is worth it if you’re looking for a great place to hangout for a few hours.“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“I love coming here. The mixologist are always so energetic and friendly. They know what they’re doing. They joke with you, they’re personable. There is no drink menus they make drinks from things of your liking. Your choice of spirit (rum, vodka, whiskey etc) then additional things you like (strong, sweet, floral, fruity, coffee, herbal, spicy, etc) if it your first time there, the mixologist will explain it how it works to you. The inside is a little small with comfy couches and chairs, often it does get a little packed and when that does happen, they will let you know when you come in that they are at maximum complicity however, they have an additional bar outside that will do everything out there that they do inside! Their patio area is cute too. Outside they have little propane fire pits, umbrellas, a canopy, a little patio, and the mixologist out there is also fun, entertaining, and personable. They rotate who is outside so it is always a different person. The bathrooms are unisex but signs are on the doors that state men and women.“

“The ambiance on the patio was amazing and the food was superb. I got an enchilada with spinach and sundried tomatoes that was recommended by the server and my husband got the skirt steak, which she also recommended. Both were excellent. The drinks also did not disappoint. I had never had a Mexican martini (I'm a vodka dirty martini gal) and it was very, very good. My husband said their top shelf margarita was the best he's had in a long time. We're visiting from out of state and came here on a whim on a Friday night with no reservation and though it was very busy we only waited about a half an hour for an outdoor patio spot. Highly recommend!“
