“Not a bad place at all. Service was prompt, efficient and on point. Food wasn't awesome, definitely not bad either.

I ordered a catfish filet, 3 chicken tenders, coleslaw and fried okra.

The catfish was cooked perfectly. Just not quality catfish. Reminds me of Southeast Asia catfish.

Chicken tenders are almost great. They seem to be brined, leaving the protein very moist. It's a texture problem for me.

Coleslaw was really good and I highly recommend it.

Fried okra needed a few more minutes in the oil. Just not quite crispy enough for me.

I will be back to explore some of the other items on the menu.“

“First time here. We were immediately greeted by a clean environment and friendly cashier named James. He patiently and quickly answered any questions and helped us pick what spicy level would work for us.
We were checked on a few times while eating to make sure we weren’t in need of anything, which is a huge step above for most fast food places.
The food was freshly made and delicious, and we were impressed with how spicy the extra hot turned out to be.

“I usually order for pickup. My first impression of this place was that it wasn't kind of place I expected (it's in a strange neighborhood). But my food is always hot and fresh, and I'm usually in and out within seconds.

Trip's special is the fried fish, mac, slaw, and a drink. Fish is legit; seasoned well, crispy coating, moist and delicious. Gotta have it with the tartar. Mac is nice and cheesy with good texture. I usually don't like slaw, but Lisa's slaw is sweet, delicious, and really helps to cut down the grease. Recommend throwing in some hushpuppies too.

Chicken is pretty good most of the time, it stays crispy, tender, and juicy for a while. Not mind-blowing delicious, but homestyle and very good for the value you get out of this place. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap, filling, satiating meal. Hits different when you're on the drive home and you're too lazy to chef up.“

“Tried Bob’s for the first time as we are new to the area. The food is FIVE stars!! My husband and I had fried fish, Cajun fries, corn nuggets, and the Mac and cheese balls appetizer. “Lisa's Chicken on Cooper st.is my favorite place to stop for my chicken fix 😀. I used to be a Churches chicken fan, but with their increase in prices and smaller pieces of chicken I had to find a new favorite stop. Lisa's Chicken has a great crispy skin, with juicy meat. The seasoning they use is unique to them, iI have not experienced that flavor profile any where else. Stop and give them a try, the price is budget friendly, you won't be disappointed.“

“So my first experience at the Chick fil a at the north east mall was amazing. Ive never had cfa ever so i asked my cashier what did she recommend so after i order and all she told me not to worry about it that my meal was on her. “If your are traveling on hwy 30 and love fried chicken you must stop here. I don't eat fried chicken often but this one really got the spot. The breading was delicious. The flavor and and crisp level were spot on. This almost tasted homemade. All other fried chicken chains taste good but this just had a better flavor in my opinion. I went tonight and I paid for the 5 piece chicken dinner and I just got home and I’m disappointed to see one of my rolls missing.

“Quick stop for dinner, picked up the 24 piece dark special with 3 sides and a 2 liter of soda. The chicken did not disappoint. The coating was light and crispy, not greasy. The meat was flavored to the bone, hot and fresh. One of the Big reason I love Lisa's chicken, the size of the pieces are still large, the flavor delicious, and the service is excellent. If you want a change from the other places, give Lisa's on Cooper Street a try.“
